I mean, a good 99% of the people who post here haven't followed the Plan of Salvation, which is to Hear the Word, (Romans 10:17), Believe what you've heard, (Romans 10:9-10), Repent of your sins, (Luke 13:3), Confess Christ to be the Son of God (Matthew 10:32), and Be Baptized for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38).

Now, a lot of you will read the above statement, and say, "I've done that already", or "I don't need to do that, I know what I feel in my heart", but I'm telling you that what I've seen on here is a lot of lies, told to you by the devil, by way of people who don't know the Bible like they think they do. They say things like, "Join the church of your choice"; "pray to God, He'll fix it"; "Just read the Bible, you'll find it"; and other such nonsense.

I've tried to teach people the way to become a Christian the way Jesus taught His disciples, yet I've seen more opinions, not nearly enough Bible knowledge, and more concern for what is not there than for what is.

o.k that's the point of faith! because for God would be easy to show you he's Real, but whats the point? if the Bible says is not by Sight! is by faith!

I mean, humans are, by nature, pretty logical creatures. It doesn't make much sense to believe in something that can't be proven or explained by scientific theory. Right?

Besides these: onions, garlic, black pepper. I don't like the taste of any prepared stew powdered mixes. I think the Tumeric is what I don't like.

The first people were cave men/hunter and gatherers...Right? Yet, the first people in the Bible seem to be a little more advanced then that. Why does God seem to only hang out in the Middle East? What did he do with pre-historic people who didn't live in the middle east? If there were always people, then where did the dinosours come from? It seems like the Bible's beginnings of human life contradicts what history claims the beginning of what human life was like. I am just looking for opinions. There is no need for you to convert me, because I already believe that God is the one and only. ;) (Christians can question to Bible too!) ;)

My grandma hates the fact that my mom's side of the family are christians. [she's dying]
My dad's mom is jewish and so is his sister.

It hurts me so much that I can't even talk about Jesus around them without them throwing a fit. I need SOME way to get her to believe. I'm not going to force her, but some time in December, there's a christmas play performing and I'm going to invite her to go with me. (I'm 13...ALMOST 14.)

Does anyone have any suggestions to get her to believe the word of God?
I can't just let it go. God is calling me to tell her about his Son. And i can't just ignore it and think the problem will go way with my grandma dying and going to Hell.

Please. Does anyone have any suggestions they can give me?

Thanks in advance.

If life started with a primordial sludge, why can't it be created in a controlled environment? It should be quite easy to do if it was just as the scientists claim. Even if it were just the most rudimentary form of life it would still be life.

We know the chemicals involved and all the details so why can't it be done? Scientists claim that where there is liquid water, there should be life yet they can't make it.

Just wondering if I really needed some money, how money people would send it. There are so money people who claim to be so moral and to care about other people, yet you never see many people giving away what means the most, money.

I ask because it seems this is an accepted stereotype in the media, particularly among blacks. For that reason, I don't feel comfortable dancing around black people, cause I don't want to worry about people making fun of me when I dance.

A Jewish Messiah
Judaism, unlike the Christianity, does not believe that the Messiah is Jesus. The noun moshiach (translated as messiah) annotatively means "annointed one;" it does not, however, imply "savior." The notion of an innocent, semi-divine being who will sacrifice himself to save us from the consequences of our own sins is a purely Christian concept that has no basis in Jewish thought or scripture. In Judaic texts, the term messiah was used for all kings, high priests, certain warriors, but never eschatological figures. In the Tanach, moshiach is used 38 times: two patriarchs, six high priests, once for Cyrus, 29 Israelite kings such as Saul and David. Not once is the word moshiach used in reference to the awaited Messiah. Even in the apocalyptic book of Daniel, the only time moshiach is mentioned is in connection to a murdered high priest. The Dead Sea Scrolls, the Pseudepigrapha, and Apocrypha never mention the Messiah.

I am a tax payer too. I watch all these lazy *** people with 5 and 6 kids running around using their little EBT cards. Most of these people are quite capable of working but are too damn lazy to even look for a job. They would rather sit on the porch or get their hair and nails done while we bust our *** to pay for it. Our taxes should go to something else instead of the losers who stand at the mailbox on the 1st of the month with their tongues hanging out. It is getting out of control and the government should investigate more than what they do.
