ok for example
if you see someone scratchin their head when they are lookin at somthing. you think they are confused.

if someone puts their hand on their chin and rubs their fingers on i guess their jaw or check. people assiosiate that with think about something.

there is a coupel more along that line that are just simple common things peopel do. that are connected with stuff like that.

just wanderin why people connect things like that with certain charectoristics ???

if someone is looking at a dog and scratching their head they are thinking is that the ***** that gave me fleas. and you can trace the finger on the cheek to Greek art. am i right Greek?

It is called "body language" and was invented by Charles Darwin, you know, the guy who claimed your mother was a monkey and all that.
There really is no such thing as "body language" (or whatever) as any one who has traveled to other countries knows from experience. What we use for "OK" in the States is something entirely different south of the border!
As to why people associate body movements with certain things, it is because the Liberals (starting with Charles Darwin in this case) that brainwash people into believing things that have no connection with actual life events.
After all, the number one reason to scratch the head is because it itches! Whether from sweat, not having shampooed recently, working in fields, furniture factories, insect bites or whatever.

it's called nonverbal communication and we all do it. Those things you described really do mean those things, there have been scientific studies done on this stuff.
