That's quite remarkable. I hadn't considered it before. Yes, it makes perfect sense. It balances so nicely and fits so easily into the emptiness. I have known of the feminine equation since the beginning but never equated it with the quest for the grail. You are so clever! Quite simple once you recognize it.

Interesting concept! However, I consider the female to be the main course! Now that's fine dining! I have heard that the Grail is a veiled reference to Miramne or Mary Magdalene which in some Gnostic gospels is the wife of Jesus of Nazareth. But since I know of no Gnostics personally, I haven't been able to question any to see if this is true or not.

The Gnostic trinity is a bit different than mainstream Xianity. It consists of God the Father, God the Mother and God the Child. The Mother is Hagia Sophia or Sacred Wisdom. Miriamne was considered by some Gnostics to be an incarnation of Divine Knowledge.

In Judaism, the feminine aspect of God is called "Shekinah" or emanation. It is dealt with in some detail in the Kabbalah.

To some extent the Church of Rome has reinserted the feminine Divine with the veneration of the Virgin Mary.
