I mean, humans are, by nature, pretty logical creatures. It doesn't make much sense to believe in something that can't be proven or explained by scientific theory. Right?

So many things in this world are crazy and illogical, and while some may say it's silly I find comfort in knowing that something bigger than me is out there. I don't think that I honestly believe that there are people sitting in the sky but it does help my human mind to comprehend. Besides faith makes people happy. I say live and let live.

I think it has to be more "looney" NOT to believe.

When did science prove everything? Every few years, new theories come to undermine old perfectly scientific and "logical" theories! Science itself is defective and it doesn't explain the existence of life, the existence of the universe, not even many things that happen in our bodies everyday. That's why there are many scientists who are strong believers in God. Those scientists who are not, are usually people with strange behavior!

Call me crazy but what goes on in this world does not seem to logical to me.

And to believe in how life or the universe started is only based on scientific theory. There is no proof, and until we can make life out of non life even believing in how life started is faith. There is still no proof.

it depends really. if you've experienced or have seen something that cant be explained then I guess no. Im talking about REAL miracles, not just some birth of some baby. I mean like real miracles that happen that cant be explained scientifically.

But if you just blindly believe it without questioning it at first then yes you do have to be a bit looney.

It is looney to remain in One religion as opposed to taking a little of each.

16 Ye look forward and say that ye see a remission of your sins. But behold, it is the effect of a frenzied mind; and this derangement of your minds comes because of the traditions of your fathers, which lead you away into a belief of things which are not so.
17 And many more such things did he say unto them, telling them that there could be no atonement made for the sins of men, but every man fared in this life according to the management of the creature; therefore every man prospered according to his genius, and that every man conquered according to his strength; and whatsoever a man did was no crime.
18 And thus he did preach unto them, leading away the hearts of many, causing them to lift up their heads in their wickedness, yea, leading away many women, and also men, to commit whoredoms—telling them that when a man was dead, that was the end thereof.

When did we become logical creatures? Nobody told me. Was there an announcement?

same question.. on R&S... science used man's limited physical senses to "measure" and "see" things... if God is measureable and definable, then God himself is not an infinite being. God is also above anything else ,logically speaking, including man's scientific hypothesis and postulations ...filtered by his limited senses.
