Just wondering if I really needed some money, how money people would send it. There are so money people who claim to be so moral and to care about other people, yet you never see many people giving away what means the most, money.

I work. To many people are looking at the fine details of the question. Just because a person may need help doesn't mean they are lazy and don't work.

I don't really want your money. I just wanted to know how people felt on the subject. I work, my husband works, and we are doing fine.

sure, it means nothing to me. THere are so many things that are more valuable.
I give at least that much each month to those in need. But I wish I could give them the things that really mattered.

There is a difference between giving and helping
If some one came to me and wanted $ I would offer them a Joe job like Help my Gardner , was my car , or something like that
I don't give hand outs that is why I am well to do and you are not , and any way I have worked hard for all I have .
You should do the same
try asking your neighbors if you can do some work for them in exchange for money
In other words DO SOME WORK OR GET A JOB
Since I am a nice guy this summer I will be touring the US ,
so if you want to make $5 you can work with my road crew I will pay you $20. a day
Benefits are:
all access pass during the tour
You can meet some well know en musicians
A free ticket to hell
You get to say Hail Satan to me at Every Show
Get to wear a red suit for a month
But first I will need to clear it with my manager but I don't think that should be a problem

If you own a computer, I don't think you are in need of $5.00, but nice try. Do you send people money on the internet if they ask for it? God made us caring and giving, not stupid! And who says we don't give away money? I don't know about you, but I give all the time, and so does everyone else in my church, and other churches around the world. We just don't go running around telling everyone we do. If I thought you were truly in need, I would be glad to help you! God Bless

I donate regularly to charities.
If someone asks for money for food ( a homeless person) then i will not give them money because I'm afraid theyll buy drugs and alcohol and i dont want my money going to those causes. Instead if there is a Wendy's or McDonald's near by, ill buy a burger, fries and a soda and give this to the person who is claiming to be hungry.
If my friends or family were ever in need of money then i would be more than happy to help them out.

Money doesn't mean the most. The act of love and showing that you care is what means the most. If you come with a credible story then people will send money to you. But you should know, there are a lot of cons out there.

No. I don't know you. I just gave $25 to a local organization that will give the poor a nice Thanksgiving meal. That's different.

if you where a member of my family or a close friend and i saw the need was great then i would help out with a bit of money but if your somebody i don't know and you just came up and asked my in the street for $5 i would more likely be questioning why you need to solicit money from total strangers.

If you just give people money, they will soon start to expect it from you. Then you end up in a situation like the welfare system, and generations of people who won't work, and just sit back and collect those checks once a month. Cha-Ching!
No, I won't give you $5.00. Get a job.
Keep workin' folks, millions on welfare are depending on us!

I see it all the time. Just let something happen like a tornado or a hurricane and money flows like water.
