I can't help but say "See ya there".

A new upscale beverage popping up in the hands of executives and movie stars all over the country. It's not surprising that it can be found in swag baskets at the MTV Video Music Awards. The bottle is adorned with Swarovski crystals (or frost/ice?)
Paris Hilton's dog drinks it.
It's called (the ever so tasteful) Bling H2O and it's billed as the "Cristal of Waters."
Can you believe you can taste it at a "water bar.", such as located in Westchester NY?

And these popinjay buffoons are made about to be the role models for todays' youth?

Well, fools and their money are easily parted.

No chance they could spare that same money to help provide safe drinking water to the world's poor is there?

Obviously they're too important, rich and pretentious to be effected by the 3.9 million children dying annually of water-borne disease, such as diarrhea, cholera, diphtheria and typhus.

See now where the seeds of communist sympathy ferments Americans?

This is based upon an answer that was given

We are Taught the God is Omnipresent- Which means he is always present everywhere.

We are also Taught that Hell is the Absence of God

So logically, one of these scenarios must be true:

1. God is Not Omnipresent
2. Hell is NOT the absence of God
3. Hell Does NOT exist

Try to dispute that
Explain it to me without bible quotes

Mine would have to be the birth of my sons, so that makes two happiest memories. Birth of grandchildren run close behind those days. But on an everyday basis... I'm happiest just being alive, seeing the beauty all around us, playing with my grandchildren.

Mormons may have different beliefs from other christians, but they preach the importance of family and they refrain from drinking, smoking, and sex before marriage. they are generally clean, healthy, kind people. they aren't hurting anyone.

i don't understand how people can claim to be followers of christ, and then they tell mormons that they are going to spend eternity in Hell. i don't care how "right" you think you are...it's never right to judge someone else's salvation, nor is it righteous to tell someone else that they believe in something stupid.

i mean, isn't part of being a Christian striving to be like christ in your everyday life? I think Mormons do this a lot better than most people, yet they are talked about by others like they are a baby-eating religion.

This may be just me, but does anyone else find that if you post a light-hearted question, sometimes the answers that you get are very serious and can even wander into the realms of almost using you as therapy, or off-loading their stuff. It takes all sorts I know and I hope that they gain something from it, but I have been taken aback at times by the strength of feeling behind the answer to a light weight question. YA to me, is a bit of fun, talking to mainly a good set of people who are also fun. It also has the ability to answer more serious questions if needed. What's your view?

im really pissed because this is what a person said to me :

it is true that money doesnt buy happiness, but it gives u access to buy the things that can make u happy

basically hes saying money makes him happy! if he was a billionaire he said he would bereally happy! am i stupid for finding this annoying? its just that ive always believed that material goods are nothing, their just temporary... i believe in sharing love (if it exists?) and happiness with others, cuz really materials can be lost broken etc out emotions can never be stolen or lost, what kind of happiness is that, oh no ive lost my top that made ma happy!

god sometimes i thik what has the world come too... everyone wants to have money be famous and rich, all i want is someone to love me and just enough to get by... its actually my dream just to be living by enough and marry a guy who loves me for what i am... people are so obsessed with money!

how much does it mean to u?

I consider myself to be a fairly sound Christian. I have my doubts, just like everybody else. But from those doubts come questions that I have worked out what I think are good answers to, and therefore have developed my faith. So I do not need to be told that I need to go pray or need to be saved, or something along those lines. Statements such as that are counterproductive to any valid point and will be immediately discounted.

I am wondering what everybody else thinks of the Bible. I know that many take the word as law, but I just cannot bring myself to. The Bible was written by man, no matter how divinely inspired, it was still written by a human. Thus, since humans are flawed, therefore cannot we reason that so is the Bible?

That you for your (constructive) comments.

There is a lot of passion these days over nativity scenes on public property.....see my first two questions along this line. So many folks want these nativities banned. You know folks, how long will it be before prayer for a dying loved one in a hospital is banned? My brother passed away this morning in a hospital, surrounded by his loved ones, who sang hymns to him and prayed with him as he passed into the Lord's arms. NOW - what do you think? Should this sort of thing be banned and outlawed ??? A bit of anger is in order here........anger at those who try to deny the Christian right to display the nativity scenes......and a lot of other things such as Bibles in schools.....and prayer in public places.........yikes.....what, what will you do when YOUR time on earth is over........and someone bans your loved ones from praying with you in a public place such as a hospital???????

What about murder, child molesting, war, starvation, disease, persecution, greed, unsustainable population growth, religion, torture, rape and so on? Wouldn't those be rather more of a worry than whether Fred down the road happens to fancy men or women? I mean, as an example of a completely screwed up sense of perspective, this takes some beating, does it not?

D&C 20:9 says the Book of Mormon contains the "fulness of the gospel". So any new revelations would be incorrect.

(Doctrine & Covenants 20:8-9)
"And gave him power from on high, by the means which were before prepared, to translate the Book of Mormon;
Which contains a record of a fallen people, and the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles and to the Jews also; "

Evolution and eugenics are the dream of the social and illuminati elite

Darwin wrote evolution

his cousin Francis Galton wrote the book on Eugenics

With all their knowledge on cross breeding and inheritance they still decided to interbreed and create supermen

why would he do that with all that knowledge

because its the "Dream" of the social elite

your comments please in particular relating to why someone who knew a lot about Genetics would still decide to interbreed?
