scotgirl: try looking at some nonbias sources when forming a conclusion about a subject like religion.. I refuse to belive something in a blog written by some religous freak why don't you look at Wikipedia.... there non bias (just a tip) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus_myth_hypothesis

This question has been adequately refuted over the years, but for some reason, people keep parroting that comment, without truly doing the research.

I have pasted a link to just a couple of rebuttals below. Hope you'll actually read them -- if you do you will discover that the mythological origins theory is neither reputable nor reliable.
