Seniors, I've been working with my parents and my in-laws trying to plan Thanksgiving and Christmas get togethers. It can be challenging for us to figure out who will be here and who will not be. Some of us live within 30 minutes driving time of each other; and the rest are scattered acrossed the US and around the world.
How about you? Do you all live near each other? How often to you get to see your family and friends who do not live near you?

I cannot believe the stupidity of some people. I frequently go onto the News & Media section on this site. Yesterday my eyes nearly popped out of my head.
I saw that Theo the Wise One had engaged in a seance with other people. He says they were contacted by Madeleine McCann, and when asked who killed her, MUMMYDADDY was spelt out!
This was yesterday and I have only just had the time to answr his question. Of course I warned him against such practices.
If any other believers are reading this, are you able to offer prayers against it and any harm to him?

about a year before i became a christian i had an abortion. recently people at my church ahve found out about this and they dont understand what i was going through at the time as non of them knwe me then. they have now started to be really judgementle of me and all want to know why i didnt tell them from the off.
i know what i did was wrong and i would change it if i could turn back the clock. i just dont know how to behave around these people who are supposed to be my friends and are supposed to be forgiving. i am dont want to be judged for something that i done in anouther life.

So, I'm wondering... Why is it that every time someone has a question about marijuana, somebody always answers with some form of "It will ruin your life"?
It improves many peoples lifes, not just because it gets you high.
I know people say the same about cigarettes, but that I understand as they really have no 'benefits'.
Some people wonder the benefits of marijuana, I say they should try it.

without the earth created, how can you have a day or night because it depends on the earth's rotation.

Ok, so we can say that tho these people label themselves as Christians, claim to follow the Bible the best possible way and yet they do such horrible things(lets just throw those good Christians that bomb abortion clinics in there too) Are not a good example of a "real" Christian right? So others shouldn't base their beliefs about Christians based on the acts of a few, Correct?
So then, why do you have to do that to us, the Muslims that have actually added to society instead of taking away from it, the ones of us that don't make the news because we don't kill. Islam ISN'T about being a suicide bomber........ those people are sick in their heads to begin with, and as said about the WBC people, do it under the cloak of Islam, giving it a bad name.

Isaiah 40:22: It is he that sitteth upon the CIRCLE of the Earth.
Isaiah 11:12: And he shall... gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS of the earth.
[emphasis mine in both quotes]
Since the Bible is the inerrant word of God, Earth is a circle and has four corners. Does that make it a round square? Why would God have us live on a contradiction?

How can you trust any of Christianity's scholars when they cant even agree on a standard interpretation of the Bible?
i.e. their disagreements have lead to the different denominations to the extent that they call each other different religions, when they were all the same religion once upon a time.

Hi. I am a college student and I was recently a victim of sexual harassment, or at least I think it is.
Two days ago, in my communications class I was sitting in front of a male student. The class was going well and my day was so far perfect.
During the second half of class, I kept feeling as if something was touching my lower back, I turned around and noticed I kept brushing my exposed backside against the student's knee.
"He's a big guy, so it's all right" I thought, and I pulled down my shirt.
Then during the last 15 minutes, I kept feeling as things were going down my underwear. Thinking it was the wind, as I was sitting near an open window, I ignored it. But then I felt something cold go down the back of my pants. I looked behind me again and the student was acting normal. I felt my backside and my underwear was exposed, along with some of my butt.
Intially I thought it was just the wind, but I was still suspicious as I felt something was in my underwear.
After class I went.
