Isaiah 40:22: It is he that sitteth upon the CIRCLE of the Earth.

Isaiah 11:12: And he shall... gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS of the earth.

[emphasis mine in both quotes]

Since the Bible is the inerrant word of God, Earth is a circle and has four corners. Does that make it a round square? Why would God have us live on a contradiction?

Primoa: I suppose you're right. It could be a round tetragon.

Kinic: I'm not purposely misinterpreting anything. The Bible is the inerrant word of God, so those quotes I cited must be true. They're also not taken out of context (you can check).

The only explanation is that God wants us to live on a contradiction. Maybe as punishment for the fall, I don't know.

Runint: When you slice up a pizza or an orange you get more than four exterior corners.

Maybe you guys are right. Maybe I shouldn't be interpreting the language in the Bible so literally because doing so disagrees drastically with empirical observations. Now if we could just convince those who take Genesis literally to do the same thing.

It's called phenomenological language, and we still use it today. For example, we say sunrise. Now, we know that the sun is not really rising. We also still use the term four corners of the Earth to this day. Research the term 'phenomenological language', the bible uses it a lot, just like most other works throughout history.

Open your mind here for a second and use some common sense.....

Do you really think that "four corners" always HAS to refer to something square?

It's not a contradiction.....Scripture contains NO contradictions!

Are you trying to purposely misinterpret the Bible? This question is laughable and definitely not the slightest bit intelligent.
