1 Corinthians 11:19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

The Bible is saying that those without heresies are the approved of God. Isn't doctrine the ultimate test? Anyone can be loving, and do good deeds, even without believing anything at all. So when it comes down to it, isn't doctrine the only test of who is a Christian?

So, I hear this silly classic argument from atheist all the time.

Let's assume that God exist and the amputee truly believes in God. If you have lost a limb, you have most likely been in a terrible accident, or otherwise required the removal of the limb to save your life. If you truly believe in God, would you not think he had a hand in saving your life, even though it cost you a limb? If you truly believe in God, shouldn't you be thanking him for your life rather than praying for more from him?

Let's take this outside of God's realm. You are stuck in a building on fire. A firefighter comes in and rescues you from certain death. But in the process he breaks your arm. Do you thank him for saving you, or do you sue him for breaking your arm? After all, his job is to save you, not hurt you....right?

Do you feel that even though you are not close with family you are obligated to be with them on Thanksgiving or any other holiday. I don't get the point of being with "family" you're not close with or do not like on a holiday when you don't bother or see them the rest of the year. Any thoughts?

I'm fuming, how very dare people try to put the responsibility of a secret on one without asking. What do you say when someone tells you a secret without asking your permission, or even if you're capable of keeping it in the first place? I'M RUBBISH AT BLIDDY SECRETS

I was surprised, given the fact that Rudy Giuliani is pro-choice, pro-LGBT, and very socially liberal. If one looks at Roberston's views on all these things, they would find them to very different from Mr. Giuliani's.

What do you think?

When :

1. There are spiritual books far older than the bible such as the Hindu Vedas and Epics.

2. Popularity does not necessarily mean accuracy especially if thousands of human hands intereferred with the re-wording of the verses over a long period of time.

3. The Bible owes a large part of its large circulation thanks to violent conquest, not its own merit. It just so happened that first the Holy Roman Empire and later the Christian European Empire conquered, and converted other native cultures. When this happened those indigenous peoples were subjugated or murdered and their works were destroyed or outlawed.

sex is a sin, andmarriage cleans it. You all mate in the flesh. 1 John2:15-16...his love is not there.

there is no love between a man and a woman....because none has been given by God. Genesis 6:3. all of withch THEY chose, and no this is not about the angels givin permission to hump the humans to breed life for the Lord...the LORD is in control.

for the wisdom of sex given to man, is placed on many woman. God did not give us the desire for multiple lovers. How many dates, or mates have you had as you blindly search for the ONE or how many people have you looked at with the eye's.

Do you think God breeds us like animals?
or are you a animal breeding? Saying this because there are no marriages in heaven, why? his will is suppose to be done in heaven as it is here, and it not.

I know there is not one Guy that has been attracted to only one woman in there life. If all woman were naked, there eyes would not look at that one woman.

I fully expect this to be pulled down before long as it is inflammatory and not a question so I will make the most of having this way of reaching as many people as possible in such a short space of time- therefore it's going up in P & S as well as R & S, the two busiest categories.

I am young, fit and determined. My mother has recently been the victim of a serial mugger in our town and it seems the police are doing good work but are too thin on the ground to apprehend him. He has now chalked up 13 muggings, 3 assaults and what is believed to be an attempted rape on a teenage boy.

This man must be stopped, and others like him. Therefore as of today I am venturing out every night in to the areas where it seems he, and other criminals, have been operating, to put an end to this. I have several 'tools of the trade' with which to accomplish this as well as a brief background in modern infantry tactics.

Rest assured I do not carry a gun and will not be killing anyone...

Many people think being a Christian means following a strict set of rules to keep you obedient. But being a real follower of God means cultivating a loving relationship with him.

Matthew 22:37-38
37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38This is the first and great commandment.

NOVEMBER 8–A Boston Catholic priest was arrested last week for stalking Conan O’Brien over a 14-month-period. According to New York police, Rev. David Ajemian, 46, was nabbed November 2 outside the NBC studios in Rockefeller Center as he tried to enter the building for a taping of O’Brien’s late-night talk show. A criminal complaint filed against Ajemian charges that the priest sent O’Brien threatening notes written on his parish’s letterhead and contacted the parents of the 44-year-old comedian, who grew up in Brookline, a Boston suburb. In his notes to O’Brien, Ajemian allegedly referred to himself as “your priest stalker,” and when he was denied entry to a taping, Ajemian wrote, “Is this the way you treat your most dangerous fans?” In his bizarre letters, Ajemian refers to John McEnroe as his “childhood nemesis,” claiming that the tennis star once assaulted him while they were seventh grade classmates at a Manhattan private school..... lol! crazy priests!

Do you think it is wrong not to give the answer you want to give. I mean if someone bores the pants of you, do you just a nice answer to get two points and stop a violation. And if this true are you being really true to yourself. I have a friend who does this all the time, never had a violation at the same time feels guilty, and confesses her sins to the Priest also makes me laugh.

Every year around this time, families gather together for the season of giving thanks for the harvest. Truthfully, I am tired of turkey, stuffing, etc. I'd like some new ideas for Thanksgiving dinner. My family is very small - really just my daughter and me. I like being at home, but I don't treasure all the cooking. I just want to relax . What do you think about something different?

In the bible it fails to educate about the the natural law of science. For example, we know that a birth cannot take place unless sperm reaches the female egg. So knowing this now how is it so easy to believe that god inpregnanted her with a baby without having intercourse. Many would say "The bible says so" but in our world we know that this cannot happen unless sperm pases to the female egg. What do you think?

What I do is just stare at my reflection for some time in some window until I hardly see myself. Nothing yet, but I look forward to the results

So what do you do to crystal gaze?
