Salam

The flesh is a gift, and what you do to it will intercede upon you on the day you are questioned by the Lord and that is something you can take to the very highest bank that keeps sucking every dollar from every hard working persons pocket.

The desires of the flesh, and what you do with them is what brings the devil to you everytime.

Well....

The bible says that all flesh is sinful, and therefore will die. And no flesh could ever survive in the presence of a holy God.

This is why we will get new bodies at the resurrection according to 1 Corinthians 15:51-58

So......our bodies are mortal. But our incorruptable bodies will be immortal. And I cannot wait for that great & glorious day to arrive!

Well, Christians (aka Protestants) encourage marriage of ministers: one man to one woman.

European Catholics, by contrast, view marriage as evil and promote the idea of unmarried men surrounding themselves with unmarried men only and unmarried women surrounding themselves with unmarried women only.

A man and woman marriage is deemed evil.

Many USA Christian ministries are bloodlines: Robert H. Schuller and son; Jerry Falwell (deceased) and son; John Hagee and son; Billy Graham and son; Pat Robertson and sons; Jan and Paul Crouch and sons, etc.

As a Pagan, not very much. Self-control is important, as is balance.

But acceptance of your nature and yourself is also very important. To know oneself is perhaps the greatest dictate of my religion. Denying yourself does not provide any path to empowerment.

For me, not at all. I don't think it's right to mortify something Deity made for me. I treat my body with respect. As to desire, I think those are for a reason, too. As the Bible says "Everything in moderation".

its extremely dangerous if you do not mortify the flesh because it will cause you to sin if you don't and sin causes death and destruction
