Please read below: a warning, and a statement, for everyone?

Question

I fully expect this to be pulled down before long as it is inflammatory and not a question so I will make the most of having this way of reaching as many people as possible in such a short space of time- therefore it's going up in P & S as well as R & S, the two busiest categories.

I am young, fit and determined. My mother has recently been the victim of a serial mugger in our town and it seems the police are doing good work but are too thin on the ground to apprehend him. He has now chalked up 13 muggings, 3 assaults and what is believed to be an attempted rape on a teenage boy.

This man must be stopped, and others like him. Therefore as of today I am venturing out every night in to the areas where it seems he, and other criminals, have been operating, to put an end to this. I have several 'tools of the trade' with which to accomplish this as well as a brief background in modern infantry tactics.

Rest assured I do not carry a gun and will not be killing anyone...

...but just dealing out some life long pain.

So this is a warning. I am not going to stop, there's far too much work to do.

If you are a violent criminal of any type and you are from my neck of the woods, stop your activities now. I AM going to find you if you attack or molest anyone. And when I do, you will not be doing much of anything constructive ever again.

There, I've said it. I'm doing this for me, my children, and the honest man and woman. Be warned.

Dear Nelson,

I understand your pain friend. Our nation has become the land of lawlessness.

The reason for this is the penalty does not fit the crime. And until they get back to grassroots laws, such as an eye for an eye, lawlessness will continue to grow worse.

The sad part is eventually, crime will become so severe in this nation the government will pass legislation that will confiscate our guns. It is only a matter of time.

And when that happens, even the city streets in rural America will unsafe to walk.



So you must understand that you going out into the streets is not the answer. The answer lies within the American people coming together and stopping the misinformation liberal garbage and get back to one nation under God.

If this nation does not do something quickly, the destruction of this country is inevitable.

We need to come together as American Patriots who realize that once the root of the tree is severed, it will fall. Let us get back to our roots, that is what made this nation great.


One warning. How long will the landlord put up with a tenant who continues to defile his property?

God is the landlord and he isn't very happy with the United States. The signs are there. Punishment has and is coming to this nation that once knew the truth, but now denies it.

Best of luck and all that. I hope you catch him or them and dispense some justice. But why have you chosen to let everyone on here know? You are just incriminating yourself. Think about it. you have a Yahoo account so you have a computer, you have an IP address. Your IP has your details. Even if you use a cyber cafe, the authoroties wont have to try too hard to catch up with you. Pre-meditated vigilante-ism doesnt go down well in court you know. Do what you must. But keep it to yourself.

I admire your passion, but worry that your determination to make the world a better place will lead you to harming others needlessly.

The best way to deal with problems like these are the most frustraiting ways. Call the press and let them know that the coppers aren't doing their jobs, form a neighborhood watch, get active in your community to stop crime as a group.

But if you stalk around at night dishing out justice, it will be just a matter of time till you make a mistake and hurt an innocent person, then it will be you who is locked away. Your mother doesn't diserve that.

What you are doing is a violation of the law - becoming a vigilante is ILLEGAL, therefore by doing this YOU will become the CRIMINAL! You could use surveillance techniques and CALL THE POLICE if and when you find this creep, but what if you start pounding on the wrong guy that just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time? If you really want to fight crime LEGALLY why don't you become a cop?

Don't be a vigilanty. It's not your place to take the law into your own hands and you may end up with a criminal record. I'm sure your mum and family would not like this to happen to you - hasn't your mother suffered enough. Let the Police do their job. Sooner or later this mug will be caught and be prosecuted.

You are young and fit perhaps, but still lack wisdom. Taking the law into your own hands (despite any perceptions that the law itself is flawed) is downright dangerous and foolish, especially if you're on the losing end of whatever battle you're about to deal out. If you believe in karma, you just might be setting yourself up for some bad karma because you likely still lack the compassion (from your own words) to put a stop to his behavior in a virtuous manner. Just my opinion as a Buddhist.

I actually dont think that this question/statement should be removed as it is an example of how dangerous loony's like you can be. You say that you are young and fit but you are not. You are derranged and every aspect of your opinion is repulsive and wrong.
Get a hobby, go on holiday or even more unlikely, get a girlfrielnd you nutter.

I wish more people would keep their eyes and ears open and not be afraid to get involved when there is obvious criminal activity going on. Not everyone necessarily has to put themselves in the position to go out and seek it but if you are willing to do that, then as long as you operate within the realm of the law, go for it!

Do you honestly believe the criminals are reading YA? Other than the ones already incarcerated and surfing the web on computers that should be in public schools, I highly doubt it.
