Many Muslims now were once Zoroastrians.....Christianity was a minority religion....So 90% of the convertees were Zoarasterians
Well Christians were Zorasterian and Jewish once...what does that prove anything?

Depends. The muslim conquest after Mohammed's death saw Syria, Iran, Iraq, Egypt and North Africa militarily conquered and muslim political rule established. They did not at that stage force any conversions [outside Arabia]. Some of those areas were heavily christian (Egypt, Syria, Iraq) - but often more a cultural thing than personal faith. So over the centuries many have converted because as a muslim you are much better treated under Sharia law (law based on Koran and hadith), and indeed the Koran is plausible and appeals in many ways. Then it has been difficult for anyone to convert out, since there is a death sanction in the Sharia law on anyone who converts out of Islam, and this stems from Mohammed's teaching so is unlikely to be removed from Islamic teaching. Christianity has been faithfully kept by some communities despite unpleasant discrimination and occasional pressure to convert - Assyrians (maybe they remember Jonah !), Armenians, Egyptians (Coptic church), Lebanon for instance.

To be Christian is not to be in a religion. To be Christian is to hold and give life testimony of the truth, and the truth is Jesus.

To be Christian is to become like Jesus to the max in testimony of God's love and creation.

To be Muslim I consider it to be a jealous answer toward God's will of fulfillment of things. It's a refusal to accept Jesus as the only and last attempt from God to bring men to become better.

Judaism was Jesus faith, not christianity, christianity is a more western religion, which started in eastern europe and southern europe. Most modern religions are a mixture of many old faith's, Christianity is stemmed from Judaism, if you look closely at Muslim's there religious stories are very similar to those told of jesus, only jesus is called muhammed. The Old testiment was written before Jesus was born, so how can half of the christian faiths teachings have come about before Christ himself? simple, christianity is not a pure faith its a mongrel religion

Muhammad arrived nearly 700 years after Jesus, and although most of the early Muhammad followers where moon goddess worshipers before they became Muslims, later joiners were Jews, orthodox (eastern ) Christians, Copts, and later Catholics.

I imagine that some might have been before they found Islam, but Muhammed(pbuh) was not. The Quran does state though, that everyone is born muslim, but many get misguided away from Islam.

The Christianity we see today is not based on the Original Kingdom Gospel that Jesus preached. Jesus preached just the opposite... "I will have mercy, not sacrifice." Matt. 9:13.

So I don't think Muslims were Christian.... but they were not the only ones who weren't Christians!
