In 1980, when Reagan was elected, and the Christians started trying to push the rest of us around. Fortunately, they've over-reached. They have pretty much lost all credibility (just check out the wise sayings of Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell and others if you doubt this). I have been calming down over the last few months, as George W's "Christian presidency" slowly unravels and he sinks below the horizon. Now that Pat Robertson has endorsed Rudy Giuliani, his shot at the White House will sink as well. Not that I am any big fan of any of the Democrats (except Kucinich... I kind of like that goofball), but anyone who is not a supply-sider will be an improvement.

I started at a very early age, when I was first treated unfairly, because I was different. I still don't fit in well with our society, and our dominant religions. I am still angry at how I, and a lot of other people, who are different are treated. I don't like our current level of morality, and I wish the religious institutions would improve their spiritual ideas, and motivate people to address the serious moral problems of this world, as well as other very serious problems, so that this world would be a less abusive, and more humane world.

When people who I think are intelligent prove themselves less than I thought.
