We've only been going out for 3 weeks now. I am definitely getting him something, just not sure what is appropriate since this is my first time in this situation. I know this question begs for smart-*** remarks, but if you could limit them it would be much appreciated.

Since it's early in the relationship, you don't need to go too crazy. I'd get him two things. The first is something a little silly, like a movie he's been wanting, something electronic he won't buy himself (example: my husband is DYING for electric hedge trimmers. i know. haha) And then something nice to show your affection: a sweater, a shirt and tie, something like that that he can think of you every time he puts on.

Being a former sugar daddy myself, i never expected a 'gift' from my lady friend. We usually met at a hotel a few days before christmas, and i gave her all the gifts i bought her. The last year we met, i got her a coach purse, A $500 gift certificate to Nordstrom, and several other misc. gifts.
