Okay.. so I am going to go on a trip for 6 months to The Netherlands. I am very interested in the Dutch language. I want to learn it before I go there, because I want to be able to understand what the natives are saying to me, and I want to be able to communicate back to them. Does anyone know how I can learn Dutch? Like, an online site or program that can teach me? I really need to know. I am leaving in 2 months, so I really want to get a head start with it, so I can learn more. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Serious answers only, please!
thankss..=]
♥Cheers

It irritates me that people can be ignorant & arrogant!
Especially some Atheist who waste their times asking silly questions about Religion or God. Why bother? You waste your time on a God you don't even believe Exist. Then some of you answer rudely to answers about Religion & God or immaturely answer to questions pertaining to Religion & God.
What irritates me more are those of Religion, specifically of Christianity always going on about how those who aren't in their Religion will go to Hell. Wth is that! You mustn't judge or think yourself better then others, nor should you say that these people will go to hell for if you do listen to Gods words then you would know that is not what God would like you to say.
I could go on, & rant some more, maybe I will after I read some of your posts... .-.

Pullman Quotes:
“I say: ‘There is a God, and here he is dying’ – and this is what I was particularly pleased with, as a result of an act of charity. And he goes ‘with a sigh of the most profound and exhausted relief.’”

When his books were released in Australia in 2003, Pullman told The Sydney Morning Herald that his “books are about killing God.”

So I watched the trailer and read some of the books excerpts. It is very "Chronicles Of Narnia" in it's big screen appeal. Excellent animation and story lines. The only problem is that this IS definitely a story about good versus evil and evil will when in the end. The author writes that the characters have "souls" called daemons(demons) but then denies that the books and movies are anti-Christian. Would like to hear your thoughts Christians and Atheists alike. I am a Christian and will not go to see the movie simply because I cannot, in good consicence, spend my money to support something totally against what I believe.

Mark 14:51-52..And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him.

Vs. 52- And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.

I believe everything written in God's word is there for a purpose, but does anyone have a clue who this might be?
I am sure I will know when I get to heaven.

I use to go through the motions at church and pray in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, but after reading the Bible I'm confused. Some say that Jesus is God on earth, created the earth etc., but Jesus prayed to his Father and taught us the Lord's prayer. If Jesus is God, why did he spend so much time praying to Him. I know that His ways are higher than mine and that I can't understand everything He does, but I feel it's important I have a better understanding. There is only One true God, is it wrong to pray to the saints, or even to Jesus?

6. No DNA tests.
7. Read your bible and interpret as you wish, so long as you believe. Oh, and donate to the church.
8. If bad people come to your house and threaten to kill your family unless you agree to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, save your soul instead - let them kill your family.
9. Fight for the separation of church and state. Then fund faith-based initiatives. (Christian initiatives only).

Do you struggle daily to hold on to that belief? Do you think the Faith that you exercise to not believe is the same Faith that I use to believe?

i've heard stories about how the Catholic Church used to be fire and brimstone and extremely strict before the Second Vatican Council. i heard that the church was very unforgiving and priests used to scold the laity in confession and sacred a lot of faithful. i'm curious to know how strict was the Catholic Church before the changes from the Second Vatican Council?

It says in Matthew:

While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, saying "What do you think of Christ?Who's son is he?" They said unto him, "the son of David." He said unto them, "How then does David in spirit call him Lord, saying, 'the Lord said unto my Lord:Sit thou on my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool?' If David then called him Lord, how is he his son?" And no man was able to answer him a word, neither did any man from that day onward dare ask him any more questions.

I have in front of me a very realy copy of the "ACT of CONSECRATION"
My question is this:
Why do you worship Mary
Why do you pray to mary?
Why does your church sell cards to go to mass?-yep, got it!
Is not everyone welcome? or is it a members only club?
Why do you think mary is the daughter of the father, the mother of the son and the spouse of the holy spirit?
Is the trinity 3seperate or 3in1?
if the trinity is 3, wouldnt that go against God's commands to have the wofe be the daughter of the father's son, if they are all separate, that would mean that the wife of one would have had a son with her father......does that sound right?!?
These are very real questions that popped up in my head when i read this.
I am not blaspheming. merely asking on the logic behind this.
thank you
Blessings in the LORD, Jesus Christ, who alone can save!
