It depends on which lord you are talking about; I would think not though. Churches pass around collection plates but the money goes to maintaining the church; paying the person at the podium; and if there is anything left over, there is always expanding the ministry. Although these things might be "good in the eyes of god," you can't take money with you when you die. I am sure anything that god would be interested in would last beyond death.

In my purse I currently have dollars, and couple Euros and British pounds floating around that I still have from my last trip.
If God doesn't take any of them, then I'll have to shop somewhere else.
