yes..and I'm VERY proud to serve. God does not hate me nor does He condemn me for doing so.

Joe: there is a difference between killing and murder (in the bible God explains war and the rumors of war). so you mean to tell me that if someone is attacking me, one of my family members or a fellow soldier i don't have the right to protect myself, my family, fellow soldiers and/or property? you mean God will take that right away from me because i am a Christian?

no.. It's hard and difficult to be there when your supervisor or commanding officer gives you orders or instructions to do that might be against a Christains beliefs. In basic training , it builds self esteem and great things that will always serve a great purpose in the later years of your life.,but if you don't agree with something they tell you, 99 % of the time you cannot refuse to do it or complete the duties of an military man.

I served 3 years. God doesn't limit the state to keeping the peace, nor from Christians being peace makers.

If people didn't attack Christians then they wouldn't have been in Biblical times. Today...I am on the fence. Killing is killing...even in war.

Why not? Just because they are christian, doesn't mean they shouldn't serve their country.
