It definitely was not one the commandments was it . Of course not !
So, let er grow er no, it’s your face ! There was a time Old Testament Mosaic rites/ordinances as to the beard and strange rites were practiced… But we are no longer under the Old Testament covenant=agreement.. Those rituals are no longer under effect today ! The Old Testament ordinances went to the cross !

A man was not allowed to touch a razor to his skin according to the Law of Israel.

Non-Jews in the bible may have been clean-shaven, Pontious Pilate is traditionally considered to have shaved.

No, since women usually do not grow facial hair. Also,the men likely had beards because it was much more inconvenient to shave than it is today.
