It definitely was not one the commandments was it . Of course not !
So, let er grow er no, it’s your face ! There was a time Old Testament Mosaic rites/ordinances as to the beard and strange rites were practiced… But we are no longer under the Old Testament covenant=agreement.. Those rituals are no longer under effect today ! The Old Testament ordinances went to the cross !

No, since women usually do not grow facial hair. Also,the men likely had beards because it was much more inconvenient to shave than it is today.
