How can God win if there are souls in Hell burning, being tortured and denied of the very salvation he supposedly died for? Wouldn't that be Satan's intent, to have at least one soul in Hell and even just that one gives Satan THE victory? God doesn't win if even just one soul goes to Hell.

I need to write a resignation letter as I want to leave my current job. I have been there 2 years so know all the staff well and get along in the role but just feel I wish to move on.

I will be handing the letter in for my manager tho and will probably speak to her anyways. Do I still need to write it formally with addresses, Dear ... , yours truly, and all those things. If so how should I lay it out?

How long should a letter be?

What would you say I am, which catagory do I fall under? I don't go to church, I don't considered my self religious to the holy ghost or the holy spirit type of deal.. How ever I'm non athiest because I do believe in my heart that there's a higher power which I believe is in my heart. I'm doing really well in my life and I do say little prayers within myself and I also look at the only preacher that I admire on TV Joel Osteen. But I'm not so taken up with all the religious drama about religions.

The human race will one day split into two separate species, an attractive, intelligent ruling elite and an underclass of dim-witted, ugly goblin-like creatures, according to a top scientist.

100,000 years into the future, sexual selection could mean that two distinct breeds of human will have developed.

The alarming prediction comes from evolutionary theorist Oliver Curry from the London School of Economics, who says that the human race will have reached its physical peak by the year 3000.

These humans will be between 6ft and 7ft tall and they will live up to 120 years.

"Physical features will be driven by indicators of health, youth and fertility that men and women have evolved to look for in potential mates," says the report, which suggests that advances in cosmetic surgery and other body modifying techniques will effectively homogenise our appearance.

for christmas this year?

2007-10-27 08:46:36 · 10 answers · asked by kate 1 in Christmas

My daughter is turning 11, and having a lot of friends over. She really doesn't want anything (besides a cat, LOL) and she was fine with the suggestion for people to bring "toys for tots" unwrapped toys to donate before Christmas to the toys for tot charity.
How can I word this without being offensive? Is it wrong to ask for a specific gift? If you received this invitation, would you feel you are being "forced" to give to charity? I want to make sure people know that they can bring a gift if they want, but also to make the option of the donation to charity. Suggestions, or should I just say nothing to be more polite?

Or if they chose a different religious path than Christianity would you tell them that they are being lied to by the devil and the only way to heaven is through Jesus? I have been told this in a very roundabout way by my own mother. Is this loving? I don't think so but I am open to all thoughts. Thank you.

Oh coarse ninjas celebrate christmas. Sant is one of the greatist ninjas of all times! I mean who else can travel the world in one night, and sneek into that many houses. ONLY A NINJA! Lets look at the facts, He lives in a secret lair up in the north pole hidden from everyone, I mean no one has ever seen him (Very much like a ninja) Does he work with a bunch of elves who make toys? Don't be silly there's no such thing as elves. He works with a bunch of minjas (Very tiny ninjas)And let me tell you this, you do not want to cross a minja, thoses guys will slit your throat in two seconds. And of coarse there's the myth that santa wears red. That of coarse is very true BUT! the red comes from the blood of children who have woken up in the middle of the night and sneaked down stairs to try and get a glimps of santa. KIDS DO NOT DO IT he has to kill you IT'S THE CODE OF THE NINJA!

THAT IS WHY SANTA IS A NINJA!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE LEAVEYOU COMMENTS ON MY TOPIC!

A lot of Atheists know about their religion and others but turn them down because they don't belive in them. Is that so hard to belive? I was once a Christian, but I don't belive in God anymore, if God wants me to be a Christian why does he allow me to have my own belifes and religion sepreat from his and the Bible?

I remember about 20 years ago when I first heard that . I had used 'xmas' but stopped then and there cause I didn't want to be associated with removing Christ from Christmas . But then I stumbled upon the following information . Quite interesting and here's just a bit >>"In ancient Christian art χ and χρ are abbreviations for Christ's name.[3] In many manuscripts of the New Testament and icons, X is an abbreviation for Christos, as is XC (the first and last letters in Greek, using the lunate sigma); compare IC for Jesus in Greek. The Oxford English Dictionary documents the use of this abbreviation back to 1551, 50 years before the first English colonists arrived in North America and 60 years before the King James Version of the Bible was completed. At the same time, Xian and Xianity were in frequent use as abbreviations of "Christian" and "Christianity"; and nowadays still are sometimes so used, but much less than "Xmas". Peace !

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
Next year all our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Make the yuletide gay
Next year all our troubles will be miles away

Once again as in olden days
Happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who were dear to us
Will be near to us once more

Someday soon we all will be together
If the fates allow
Until then, we'll have to muddle through somehow
So have yourself a merry little Christmas now
