The human race will one day split into two separate species, an attractive, intelligent ruling elite and an underclass of dim-witted, ugly goblin-like creatures, according to a top scientist.
100,000 years into the future, sexual selection could mean that two distinct breeds of human will have developed.
The alarming prediction comes from evolutionary theorist Oliver Curry from the London School of Economics, who says that the human race will have reached its physical peak by the year 3000.
These humans will be between 6ft and 7ft tall and they will live up to 120 years.
"Physical features will be driven by indicators of health, youth and fertility that men and women have evolved to look for in potential mates," says the report, which suggests that advances in cosmetic surgery and other body modifying techniques will effectively homogenise our appearance.

False.
Isn't he ruling out upward mobility and the subjectivity of what makes someone attractive? He's assuming social classes are synonymous and are immobile, and thus like attracts like.
"[The report] suggests that advances in cosmetic surgery and other body modifying techniques will effectively homogenise our appearance."
I disagree. Too many assumptions are being made.

will evolve this way?
Don't you think it has already started? It's classic natural selection. We choose who we want to breed with and therefore are very slowly creating what the scientist is talking about!
think about it when is that last time you saw an extremely good looking guy with an ugly lady? The only hope for this not to happen is that enough "ugly" people become wealthy and powerful as to make them socially attractive!

Once again, science just explains God's creation. God created the Gentiles on the sixth day when He said, “Let us make man in our image” (Genesis 1:26). He did not create the Jews until after the seventh day, His day of rest. At some point after the seventh day, God created Adam, the father of the Jews.
Cain’s fear of being lynched, his marriage to an unknown woman and the fact that he founded a city (Genesis 4:14-17) are all interpreted as evidence that another race of men coexisted with Adam and his family.
Romans 5:12-14 “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned--for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.”
This passage is traditionally interpreted as meaning that death began with Adam’s sin and reigned unchecked among men (even among those who haven’t actually eaten the forbidden fruit, those who have sinned but not “in the likeness of the offense of Adam”) until the Law was given to Moses, the Pre-Adamic Gentiles sinned against God, but in a manner less egregious than Adam (which is why Adam’s sin brought death while there’s didn’t). They merely sinned against God’s moral will. Adam sinned against His Law. Adam disobeyed God’s prohibition by eating the forbidden fruit. He broke the Law of Paradise. The Pre-Adamic Gentiles were those who “had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam.”
Noah's flood? Glad you asked. Well, the entire earth was not flooded. Only what Noah KNEW, was flooded. If, all you KNEW were Atlanta, then you would say the entire world"Atlanta" was flooded.

Things are always evolving so I'm not surprised by the news. I just don't understand why they are assuming that the 7ft. humans are going to be the rich and intelligent beings. What has been considered "beautiful" in the past has always changed.

I think that in the EXTREMELY long-term scheme of things, its entirely possible. However, there is such diversity among human beings at this time that it would take thousands and thousands of years before we were able to see two absolutely distinct species.

The human race was already two different species before, Neanderthals and Homo sapiens sapiens. It's not that hard to believe.

It's already been proven that small people live longer. I'm not worried about it though since everyone in my family is already good looking. There are many health problems with people who are too big, like they do do not have a big enough heart to pump blood through out their bodies.

Yeah, I saw something like that in H.G. Wells "The Time Machine." I won't be here so I don't care what humans evolve to.
