i suppose that if you stand in the way of sinners, they'll sin against you and you'll end up suffering.
so it's better to avoid them.
also if you sit with clowns they'll think you're a clown... go figure.

Standeth and Stand mean the same thing.
It sounds like you have a King James version of the Bible.
Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; Psalm 1:1 New King James Version.

I had a voice once that said I was "in the way of the world." I know now what it meant was that I was too worldly, and walked in the way of the world instead of in God s way which is God s will and way. So standeth in the way of sinners would most definitely mean to me to walk the walk and talk the talk of sinners. I know so much more about God s will and way, and have much more peace and serenity around it.

A different version may help, but very simply put the verse says that happy are people who do not "standeth in the way of sinners". Overall it is telling us not to follow sinners down their path, don't stand where they have stood.

This pertain to a person who live a sinful life and do not stand for truth.... or maybe this person know that somebody has done a crime or corruption and yet despite knowing it, he/she just kept silent and let the evil became prevalent whether in office, community and in government... in this case he standeth in the way of sinners.

Different translations of the bible would suggest love and charity are synonmus. Examples found in.1st Corrinthians ch. 13 vs. 1-17 illustrate this many times. I would enjoy hearing from a scholar of the languages used in those past times to clarify my understanding. The story of the "World's Poorest Philanthropist", Gilbert "Harold" Ewing II (myself) is the reason for this querry. The " act of grace", or charity, reffered to in the news interview, has posited this question and I lack the sort of education to provide any insights of true value.

It is like "coming out from among them." Meaning you are progressing spiritually enough to recognize the necessity to turn from sin and be a stronghold for truth, and therefore in the way of sinners (the old man within).

The sinner has his particular way of transgressing.
One is a drunkard, another dishonest, another immoral. Each has his own besetting sin. Now blessed is he who stands not in such a man's way.
It means not to walk in the way of the evil, to
hold back our foot from their paths, to fear God and turn away from evil. Amen!

It means standing as a sinner. It means taking a position characteristic of sinners - like on various issues, or taking positions in life (i.e. mafia hit man, prostitute)
