Come on when was the last time you or anybody on here kept to the ten commandments. Some sins are not meant to be forgiven and that is by anybody and that means god as well. Until can forgive yourself for somethings then why should anybody else.

Yes, if you do so with a genuine heartfelt motivation and in the name of Jesus. You also have to ask the right God, who is the actual father of Jesus, who inspired the writing of the Bible and who created the universe. Further information can be obtained at this web site.

No, it's not a "cop out" it's like if you hve a friend..and a falling out....and later you want to be friends again and realize you were in the wrong...what do you do? well, you call them up and talk to them and tell them about it, and make it "right" with them so you can be best friends again...it's the same with God...no differant..... "Peace!"

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1John 1:9

"Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon" Is 55:6,7

It's called grace.

As long as you mean it and own it . Without the Lord's forgiveness , or anyone's forgiveness , we'd all be damned to Hell after our very first sin !

When I was a child and at school we had to go to confession every week me and my friend used to make up things to say then finish off with and I've told lies and sinned so that covered us, we were at junior school we didn't do anything bad but we had to go when my children were of age I used to ask them if they wanted to go and they didn't go that often.

Yes, it is as simple as that as long as you mean it.
Jesus can easily work out whether you mean it, by looking to see whether you have shown any forgiveness to others who have wronged you, (see Matthew6v14~15).

God is mans' invention. He/She was invented by powerful people to control others. There is no god and never was. There are offences against your friends and neighbours. If you have offended them they will forgive you. Man is great.

That sounds like a lie...
And nobody forgives for lies, but for telling the truth...

Just tell the truth, say it as it is...
