A real brother is one that loves his sister and brothers unconditionally, is he not?

The first two thirds were all alone the lines of "Jesus is love!", "Jesus loves you!" and "Jesus loves cheese!", and the last bit was basically along the lines of "All gays are evil devilspawn and will burn forever and ever and ever and ever in a pit of fire and sharp pointy things".
Slight contradiction methinks?

Nowhere in history is a there a record of a "Palestinian" nation, no record of their language, culture, cuisine or existence. The Palestinian Narrative is an attempt by Arabs to eradicate the existence of a Jewish state with a history that is recorded in archeology as well as the Bible. The Jews have an unbroken and unequivocal record of having resided in the Holy Land for thousands of years. The Arabs came only after the Jews provided opportunities for employment and a better life than was possible in their own countries.

This interpretation of the confusing of languages / scattering of peoples (the Babel event) asserts that it happened sometime after 2247 BCE (after the birth of Peleg):
http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation/v22/i1/peleg.asp

So, for example, I was curious about the language and facial features of the Chinese era of the Yangshao culture (5,000 BCE - 3,000 BCE).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yangshao_culture

Did the Chinese acquire their notable non-Jewish facial features after the birth of Peleg?

(It's also odd that the "Flood" apparently was alleged to have happened only as far back as 2349–2348 BCE.)

What is best thing for me to do when God is silent in my prayers? I've been praying for a job so that I can save up money a little bit before going into ministry. If I have no income before the campus ministry training starts, my parents would be really mad. I have option of doing self support for doing a ministry but my parents would be mad too. So I've been praying for a job to save up, but God is not opening up the door for my finance right now. I need to save up, pay debt a little bit. Ministry training is in january and if I have no money, what should I do? what is God's will? is his will not letting me work for a while and do self support? I want to do ministry training deep down in my heart but if he God is not opening up the doors for my financial situation, what does that mean? i've been trying to be patient but it is really hard. If you were minister, missionary or pastor, how did you dealt with financial situation before going into mininstry? what if parents say "No"????

I often see people saying "Why do you quote from your Catechism?" "Why not just use the Bible"

Well, first, do you know what the word "catechism" means? It is from the Greek "katēchein" meaning "to teach". So, it is the teaching of the Church. Very simple.

The Bible is the inspired word of God. All of us Christians understand this. But, a Bible exegete (interpreter) will tell you that the Bible is what we call "materially sufficient" but not "formally sufficient" for knowing the Christian faith. In other words, all the "stuff" (as Carl Sagan would say) or "material" is in there, but it is not laid out in a "form" as to be perfectly clear what it is saying.

Enter "the Church". Christ established a teaching church: "..go and make disciples of all nations.. ..teaching them to obey everything I have commanded" (Matt 28: 19-20). And that's what the Catechism is, the fulfillment of Christ's command to the apostles, and their sucessors, to teach.

It's only a hate crime if the attacker is white. Btw, I'm Asian. It's really weird in a country that is mostly white, where laws are made by whites, is so against whites. You'd never see something this dumb in Korea.

If God knows everything we are going to do and say, and knows what our destiny is, then how can we have free will? If we do have free will, then how can God be all knowing/powerful, cause he wouldn't be able to tell what we're going to think or do next, right?

Because of you

Because of you
my world is now whole,
Because of you
love lives in my soul.
Because of you
I have laughter in my eyes,
Because of you
I am no longer afraid of good-byes.
You are my pillar
my stone of strength,
With me through all seasons
and great times of length.
My love for you is pure
boundless through space and time,
it grows stronger everyday
with the knowledge that you'll always be mine.
At the altar
I will joyously say 'I do',
for I have it all now
and it's all because of you.

Yeah I am talking about Joseph Smith.

At age 14 he claimed he saw both the God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ and they spoke to him.

For over 20 years this dude gets the crap kicked out of him, tarred and feathered and beaten within an inch of his life. All he has to do to make it stop is say "I Lied"

But he never did.

He maintained his story and never denied it and he was killed for it at age 39.

Why would someone do that if it were not true?

Think about it. would you or anyone you know go through that kind of abuse and be willing to catch a bullet for something that you didn't know to be true?

My neighbor is frequently stopping by without calling to tell me something obvious or something that a phone call would suffice. It's not like our houses are right next to each other, there is a small wooded area in between and he usually drives over (which is ridiculous in its own). I really like my privacy and am getting sick of this. How can I discourage it without burning a bridge - I definitely don't want to cause problems since we're neighbors.

I don't think that some one is less intelligent because they do not agree with some one else. just because they do not agree does not mean they are scared of them. We do not call homosexuals "christianphobes". we should be able to disagree and still coexist.

The world is being ruined by global warming. Our weather is nuts. If man continues to ruin the earth it will be uninhabitable in a few more years. So what does this mean for mankind? The Bible states that God will step in before man ruins the earth (Revelation 11:18) , doesn't that mean that it will be soon? What do you think?

I aboslutely hate to say this but I have a very skilled employee who is very immature in his behavior. I have another employee who is much older and accomplished who is of the same race. When I discuss the other employee's behavior with the older one, he says that it is because "on the streets" you have to have that kind of attitude and he just needs time to "grow up" and realize the rest of the world doesn't operate that way.
That leads me to the question of why should I put up with it and wait for him to finally "get it"? Do I have a social responsibility to him?

My wife and I were just married outside of the church. We were both raised Catholic, but both of us were away for so long that we didn't really consider getting married in the church. We think that we would like to get back into the religion for our future children. Does anyone know what the process would be to have our marriage recognized by the Catholic church? Do we just have to go through the whole six month process, and have a Catholic wedding? Please only give civil answers, we are only now considering becoming religious again and I don't want to be turned further away by anyone.
