This interpretation of the confusing of languages / scattering of peoples (the Babel event) asserts that it happened sometime after 2247 BCE (after the birth of Peleg):

So, for example, I was curious about the language and facial features of the Chinese era of the Yangshao culture (5,000 BCE - 3,000 BCE).

Did the Chinese acquire their notable non-Jewish facial features after the birth of Peleg?

(It's also odd that the "Flood" apparently was alleged to have happened only as far back as 2349–2348 BCE.)

It is fact that the first humans were in Africa over 200,000 years ago, and these first humans had speech capability; which means that the first languages were African.

The flood event must of happened when the earth was flat. China didn't feel the effects of the flood because the water just spilled over the edge of the earth... People in China just had to worry about hanging on because their world was upside down. ;)
___
Seriously—China does have a mythical great flood, though they did not know of Christianity until 7th century AD. China's history books were already written by the grand historian Sima Qian (145–90 BC).

In China's mythology.... "During China's Great Flood Yu's father, Gun (鯀), was assigned by King Yao (堯) to tame the raging waters." Yu the Great (大禹 Dà-Yǔ), was the first ruler and founder of the Xia Dynasty which would make this event happen in 2070 BC... In this story Dà-Yǔ taught the people to build levees to control the raging flood waters.

That site is interesting from a history viewpoint but neglects that the polar ice caps have been in place for over 160 thousand years and that neolithic villages have been found in China dating to 7000 BCE or before.

He makes an interesting assertion about the geneologies, according to them, man was living upwards of 1000 years (more or less) and his life expectancy was gradually decreasing - this is strange as none of the remains we found of early humans show indications of age like this.

No, the flood never happened, the Chinese didn't speak Hebrew nor do they look Jewish.
