Depends upon the definition.

Some definitions include:

--A male who has one or two parents in common with another/other person/persons.

--A male who shares one or more of the following with another/other person/persons: A common ancestry, goal, allegiance, purpose, etc... The same nationality, heritage, fraternity, club membership, etc...

--A black male. (Yes, this is found in some dictionaries. Whether or not people like it, it's there.)

--A male whom a person (or persons) knows, likes, and trusts.

I would go on, but I think I've made my point.

The purpose of your question was probably to acquire answers which include the characteristics that people think a brother should have. Correct? Well, in that case, I agree with you. But that's just my opinion.

Unfortunately, many (if not most) of us would be criminals if our opinions (mine and yours) (that "a real brother is one that loves his sister and brothers unconditionally") were written into law. And that's sad.
