AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!..... and He uses the bad times to strengthen us...
James 1:2-3
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

Yes, if you are trusting and following Him.
Joseph in the Old Testament is a good example of that. Remember what he told his brothers when he forgave them, "You meant it for evil but God meant it for good."
God can take the most horrible tragedy or circumstances and bring blessings out of it. Sometimes we can't see it when we're "in the valley". It's only when we climb out and look back that we can see how He brought us through, and helped us grow in the process.
Claim Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
One of my favorite illustrations of this verse is that God is weaving a beautiful tapestry out of our lives, but here on earth we can only see the back side. Some of the threads are messy and ugly on the back side, but when the front side is revealed in heaven, we will see how everything was designed to be a beautiful masterpiece.
Psalm 23 is also a beautiful picture of the GOOD Shepherd's care for us through good and bad times.

Some people like to say God is good all the time. But you have to remember God is love, and love corrects. The bible says God chastises those who He loves. That's because we don't always live up to His expectations. Also, the bible talks about the wrath of God for those who transgress and are rebellious. And the bible mentions curses that are put on people.(deuteronomy 28) Despite all this, God is always there for us if we repent and change our ways. So I can understand why people would like to believe that God is always good. Jesus said he would never forsake us, and He would be with us until the end of the age. That's pretty good in my book.

God is always Good. Christ said that there is none good but God. There is no evil or ill will in The Father, The Son or the Holy Ghost.

Amen like Job said Why should we not accept the good times and the bad?
Job 2: 9 His wife said to him, "Are you still holding on to your integrity? Curse God and die!"
10 He replied, "You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, AND not trouble?"
In ALL this, Job did not sin in what he said.

YES.
God answers our prayers through "yes", "no" and "wait" because He realizes that sometimes you thing that would be best for you NOW, would NOT be good for you in the long run and sometimes, you do need something, but NOT at the current moment.
