Salvation: Ransomed - Healed - Restored and Forgiven
through Jesus Christ alone.

He paid our debt by taking our place.
Salve is the healing part.
Restored back to Glory with God.
Forgiven for all the wrong things we have done.

Salvation is deliverance from danger or suffering. To save is to deliver or protect. The word carries the idea of victory, health, or preservation. Sometimes, the Bible uses the words saved or salvation to refer to temporal, physical deliverance, such as Paul’s deliverance from prison (Philippians 1:19).

More often, the word salvation concerns an eternal, spiritual deliverance. When Paul told the Philippian jailer what he must do to be saved, he was referring to the jailer’s eternal destiny (Acts 16:30-31). Jesus equated being saved with entering the kingdom of God (Matthew 19:24-25).

What are we saved from? In the Christian doctrine of salvation, we are saved from “wrath”; that is, from God’s judgment of sin (Romans 5:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:9). Our sin has separated us from God, and the consequence of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Biblical salvation refers to our deliverance from the consequence of sin and therefore involves the removal of sin.

Who does the saving? Only God can remove sin and deliver us from sin’s penalty (2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 3:5).

How does God save? In the Christian doctrine of salvation, God has rescued us through Christ (John 3:17). Specifically, it was Jesus’ death on the cross and subsequent resurrection that achieved our salvation (Romans 5:10; Ephesians 1:7). Scripture is clear that salvation is the gracious, undeserved gift of God (Ephesians 2:5, 8) and is only available through faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12).

How do we receive salvation? We are saved by faith. First, we must hear the gospel—the good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection (Ephesians 1:13). Then, we must believe—fully trust the Lord Jesus (Romans 1:16). This involves repentance, a changing of mind about sin and Christ (Acts 3:19), and calling on the name of the Lord (Romans 10:9-10, 13).

A definition of the Christian doctrine of salvation would be “The spiritual, eternal deliverance which God immediately grants to those who accept His conditions of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus.” Salvation is available in Jesus alone (John 14:6; Acts 4:12), and is dependant on God alone for provision, assurance, and security.

Salvation is accepting Gods free gift.
Salvation is our only ticket into heaven it is what guarentees an amazing afterlife. Savation can chang your life forever.
The best part is the only thing you have to do to get saved is pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart and forgive you for all your sins there is no sin big enough for God not to forgive you. He loves you and wants you to love Him to. May my God be your God if you only choose to accept Him I will be praying for God to work in your life and show you why you need to get saved if you need to talk I will put you as a friend.

It's know that God has forgiven you for the sins you've committed and will commit came to him to ask forgiveness for that you honeslty never want to committ again, because you finally realize that he Loves YOU just because you are who you are,and gave his life for YOU. Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. Also it's a daily walk.

The word is loosely derived from the Latin 'salve' or "hello." God's salvation is when God puts out the welcome mat, has the chef whip you up a great hot meal, and gives you a bear hug full of love and affection like you've never known it.

Salvation is what happens when God welcomes you home with the red carpet, to a place you didn't even know you were lost from.

"Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. And bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found." (the father in the parable of the prodigal son.)

The act of being saved.

From a secular point of view, that's it. Somebody gives you CPR - you have experienced salvation.

Religion loads it with other meanings revolving around what "being saved" entails and who can do it and when it can be done. Not all salvation is the same as christian salvation and even in christianity salvation has various meanings. It is complicated enough that there is an entire religious discipline devoted to studying it called soteriology.

What a surprise! All these Christians and not a clear concise answer among them. In fact many of them disagree on what salvation is. Hilarious.

In a nutshell,

Salvation is a pardon.
It is not a verdict of "not guilty".

It is the free gift of God.
It is only possible because the penalty for my sins has already been paid.

A person just needs to accept the free gift.

(See that no man rob you of the simplicity...)

Salvation is the act of being saved ,as in giving your life over to Jesus Christ. Becoming born again! Meaning that you turn your life over to Him,and He cleanses your life to be white as snow.

To be saved. Not going to hell.To repent and be baptized in Jesus name and filled with the holy ghost. To grow with God and let him show you how to live.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

John 3:55Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
