What countries do each stick represented today?

Christians love to explain that life can't come out of nothing. That the odds of life here is so far fetched that it can only be caused by a god.

Fine, please explain to me this then. Why would a god create a huge universe if he is sending his son to reclaim this planet and only the good will go to this heavan, and the bad will go to hell. Why would he waste his time with galaxies billions of miles away?

You say that god has order, them why are there all these meteors floating around aimlessly in space causing massive damage like the the ones that hit Jupiter a few years ago. the chance of a meteor hitting the earth is real.

Why did this god create radioactive materials. Then there would be no nuclear weapons. There would be no threat of nuclear armed terrorists that could make millions suffer.

Why would a god allow the creation of black holes that are swallowing the universe that 'he' created.

So show me this order in this chaos listed.

Is painting or sculpting an image of Jesus idolatry? Were Leonardo and Michelangelo idolaters? Is visiting an art museum an act of idolatry? I'm wondering where the modern-day puritans would draw the line.

Here what idol means:

Apparently from the look of recent posts a lot of "Christians" are having a hard time with this one.It basically means, mind your own dam* business, live and let live, even if someone disagrees with you.But I know...whats the fun in being a pacifist right.People would rather let their ego get up on it's hind legs and tear someone down to make themselves feel better, even though it doesn't work that way.sad.

I've just seen a BBC presentation where Neo-Nazi teenagers in the US were interviewed. While talking to the reporter, during 1 part of the interview when they (the interviewer and one of the neo-nazi teenagers)were walking through the neighbourhood, the reporter asked, "So where do you go to eat?", and the kid pointed straight to the Mexican owned Taco & Burrito shop. During another part of the same interview, another kid showed the interviewer his flat and when they walked in, there was a group of kids listening to Jay Z.

How does that work? If you hate everyone who isn't "the superior race" aren't you suppose to NOT be listening to black artists or eating food made by Mexicans? I think naziism is wrong but hypocracy on top of it just really irritates me.

Personally I don't believe that Jesus' sexual orientation makes a difference in regards to his work.

John 21:20 reads,
-Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, "Lord, who is going to betray you?")

If so, can you tell everyone about it, like the amount, and how much you received, and also how long it took to receive it after you prayed...?
I have faith, but still need a bit of encouragement

I heard/read somewhere that most Heathens celebrate Winter Night on the full moon (or new moon) nearest the holiday, or any holiday for that matter except the solsitices. I can't remember where I got this or I'd look it up again. I was just wondering what other Heathens think about this?

I am almost ashamed to have ears when I go to school. There are always people cussing. I really feel uncomfortable when they do this, because I am afraid that someday someone will walk up to me and say something really mean. Do you do this?

Hehe, while I'm at it, I will ask this other question, optional to answer: When solving a math equation, do you have to multiply the variable by one, because when I don't do that, my teacher gets mad. Is it even necesary???

And if so, then surely this must prove that you are a minority. So why can't you just humbly thank your god that you live in a country where you have a Constitutionally guaranteed right to pray however you want and be satisfied with that, instead of insisting that your own, admittedly mocked and scorned minority view of morality should somehow be the basis for civil law for the rest of the more enlightened population?

It would appear that we are transitioning (or have already transitioned) from a Judeo-Christian society to a post-Christian, post-modern society. But are we entering or have we already entered an anti-Judeo-Christian society?

No objective God...
...means no objective truth...
...means all “truth” is relative... (and people like Pilate say, “What is truth?” – John 18:38)
...means “truth” is an opinion of man...
...means all “truth” is relatively “equal”...
...means “morality” is “relative” and defined by man and the opinions of man (or society as a whole)...
...means the “justice” system is based on the opinions of man...

And since every single individual’s beliefs, values, lifestyles, and truth claims are equally to be accepted and appreciated...(lest we be declared INTOLERANT!)

...then all beliefs, values, lifestyles, and truth claims are morally acceptable and SHOULD be equally “legal”!

...and they SOON will be...*perhaps*!

I went out to my wedding venue to take a look around.
while there i brought my friends with me
anyways while talking with the food people. about drinks and food , I explained that I wanted a toast , and was gonna offer wine then the rest would be cash bar.
as well we are ordering Hor durves to be hand passed by suited up waiters ( cocktail reception ) ( i am renting an entire plantation /musume house from the 1700's ) hello expensive.

When we got back in the car on the way home I was explaining what they had on the menue, I forget what hor durve it was but that isn't the point my friend said I should order something else because she didn't like it ... well I told her then I guess you won't eat them will you. then we started talking about the wine and I said i would pay for wine while the party was going but anything after that including beer would be on the people .and she was like " i guess i will only be drinking wine ... Hmmm " I find this rude

I have found most people on this and any other site have a real problem with Christianity. I wonder though if its more about the people who claim to be Christ like (christian) of if they really have issues with Jesus Himself. Just looking at what has been recorded in the gospels in light of todays culture, what did He do or say that would not be heralded in some way if some one else said it ???

Christians, you've got to know that Hindu faith or Ásatrú faith is just as strong as yours. As powerful and steadfast and reassuring as your conviction is, so too is the Hindu's or the Ásatrúar's. As doubtless and sincere as you are, so too are the Hindus and the Ásatrúars.

How is their faith any different than yours?

And if you answer by saying "because my God is real and their gods aren't", I'll know that you didn't understand the question.
