1. Many people dislike Affirmative Action (And they're not all white.) because: It doesn't work. It contradicts its purpose by not taking all races into consideration and by giving preference to women and SOME minority groups. And it's a slap in the face to everyone who wants to stand on their own merit.
The very statement, "We are an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer/institution," is inconsistent.
2. Asking that people not have race based expectations regarding language usage is NOT using the race card. It's the exact opposite... It's asking that race not be considered with regards to language/vocabulary.
3. There's no such thing as reverse racism. Racism is racism.
4. There are a lot of people who don't like hip hop. And guess what? They're not all white.
5. What are you saying? That white men think any negativity they experience from other people is solely due to them being white? That may be true in some cases, but white men who do this aren't representatives of white people.
Bottom line: People of all races play the race card. No one has the market cornered on that. But ya know what? YOU are playing the race card by posting this irrational rant.
"I don't really care about the grammar! Aslong someone that Is African American can get what I'm talking about. Other Races I really dont care for." ----Don't hold your breath. So far, not a single black person has posted an answer that's in agreement with you.

The whole race thing just indicates that there is more than the "human race." This is something I cannot understand, unless of course a person buys into evolution and that some people are "further from the ape ancestor" than others- the very ideology that furthered the idea that black people in America were "lesser" because they were "closer to non-human" than white people who owned them. We are all one race, therefore it's just some stupid guilt being thrown around. I think it's no different for whites now than it was for blacks 50 years ago. Now there are so many young black folks who have never grown up with true racism (only things from TV or random crap). However, they have had alot of anger taught to them by parents, These white kids, who were never discriminating against blacks are being discriminated against at the governmental level with affirmative action. It's time to be rid of it- and let a person's true character and ability speak for them. Dr. King never preached that we should be judged based on the color of our skin- but that is precisely what is happening!

Black people can be very rasict too. In fact many blacks are the first to throw out the race card. If a white person looks at you strange you assume it's because your black. You can't get a job, it's because you're black. You get bad service at a restaurant, it's because you're black. Could it be just the way you act? From your post you seem like a very angry, stereotypical man. If you live up to the black stereotype and walk around like the white man is out to get you and you are biggest thug and player, well, then I wouldn't give you the time of day either. You are a true example of reverse racist at it's finest. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Let's Test Your "Reverse Racism" Theory. Caveat: I am a "white" guy.
Would you be opposed to the creation of a United Caucasion College Fund? (Remember, the mind is a terrible thing to waste)
How about concentrating whites in a "Historically White University"?
I live in Houston where I am the Minority. Would you support my getting a preference for a city contract as a minority business owner? How about promotion preference as a city employee because I am a minority?

1. They blame it on Affirmative Action when someone with less experience who is less qualified than them gets the job that they were obviously better suited for because of their race.
2. Why should you be able to use the N-word if other people can't? Doesn't that just set you back 50 years?
3. There's no such thing as "reverse racism". It's either racism or it's not. And I'm glad you're proud of your heritage. I'm proud of mine. That's the way it should be.
4. When was the last time a rock or alternative band bragged about raping, murdering, or stealing? Give me the song title and artist, please.
5. This is a vague statement and I'm not sure I understand it because your grammar is terrible. Please clarify and we can discuss.

1. HUH? there are cases where businesses are pressured to hire minorities to fill quotas. but I have never met any white person that have blamed affirmative action for not landing a job. NOT ONCE!
2. a lot of whites want to point out the double standard. for example, If I said, "what's up, *****!" to a black person on the street would he accept me or would he see me as a racist?
3. again double standard. we claim to have an ounce of pride in our culture, we are classified as a supremacist.
4. ahhhhh duh!
5.blah blah blah whatever the f**k you mean!

White, Black, Mexican, why does race matter so much? Why does a race card even exist? If you don't like something about someone, just tell that 1 person. Don't blame it on a group of people!

All races play the race card, like you're doing now. It doesn't matter who does it the most.
