I would eat it. It's kinda fun eating the red text. Has a nice, tart flavor. And the cover is very sweet, and has a slight, salty, taste. And its so fun to nibble at the corners. My favorite chapter is Genesis. It tastes like chicken. Mmm.... Leviticus tastes nasty and fishy, though.

I probably wouldn't eat the Bible but I would burn it if I had to. The way I see it is that if I am going to die I don't need the Bible when I am dead and if I get rescued I can buy a new Bible.

If I were on the brink of starvation I would try to catch some kind of animal to eat, then tear out a few pages for kindling and cook some food. Whether you believe it's the word of God or not, it's still just a book physically.

I would use it as kindling for wood to stay alive, after all it is made up of paper, our Gods give us tools to survive and if burning the holy bible is the only tool available then that is a gift to be used. remember the story of the flood, the person on a roof, a boat, a helicopter, a row boat came by and the person said, my god will save me, they died and when they were in heaven, they said Lord, why didn't you save me and the lord replied, I sent you a row boat, a helicopter, and a boat. faith and belief is internal, spirituality is of the heart, soul and mind, and words on paper, tho a good message, if can be used to save your life, then it is a gift from god that u had it with you to be used.

No, but even if I wanted to how would I burn it without matches or a lighter and stuck in the cold snowy mountains anyway? And why eat it when you could eat bugs or something more nutritional?

Eating it wouldn't help you much, and after a day or two you wouldn't really need toilet paper anymore (you forgot that option), so I'd have to say firestarter. I can pray without a Bible, and if God gets all uppity about some paper with ink on it, then to heck with him.

If it was ALL I had in the Andes it wouldn't keep me alive much longer than having nothing, so no I wouldn't. I don't like to fly anyway, so it's a moot point for me.

There is a verse in the Old Testament that talks about eating a scroll and it tasting like honey, but I wouldn't recommend that unless God tells you so... :)

Burn it. I would have to keep warm and have to have something to cook on not to mention light at night and defense against creatures. Me dying or some stupid book? The book!
