The story of Sodom and Gomorrah talks about angels being threatened with rape by the homosexual townspeople as they visited the only "good" man there- Lot. Then God gets Lot out of there and destroys the wickedness. After Lot's wife turns into a pillar of salt for glimpsing at the destuction at hand, Lot and his daughters retire to the mountains for some camping or something. Anyway, Lot's daughter's come up with this brilliant plan to get their dad drunk and rape him so they'll carry on a seed or something like that. Does this story mean- Don't be a homo and ladies- rape your dads.????

On one hand it would be easier to find questions you are more interested in. Check out the science & mathematics section and how many sections there are there. Should the R&S section be much like the same? At least this way you can isolate questions that are meant only for Christians or atheists or Jews or Taoists. People who want to answer questions only on Buddhism will not have to slug through 100s of Christian vs atheist posts.

Or better yet just have a section "Christian/atheist rhetoric"

My teacher got an email from a friend yesterday and while he read the short message from his friend he clicked on the link that he had sent him. It was supposed to be some kind of funny car ad..well the ad told him to look closely behind the car you can see some kind of white mist..and then out popped a decreped looking zombie that scared the sugar honey iced tea out of him...I want to send a funny scary email to my friends but I don't know where...does anyone know...I'll give away stars and best answers to the best one....please help..I love Halloween and scaring is my thing...people kind of expect something scary from me....

If he was born 10 years ago in the US and his friends were spray painting the school wall, WWJD?

If he was born 20 years ago, would he be in college now?

If he was born 30 years ago, would he be a religious figure of some sort? A political leader?

At what point would he be recognized as the superstar, or would nobody recognize him?

Are we positive he will come back as a man and not a woman? I mean, he does need to be born all over again, right?

Everyone says he's coming back soon, I'm just trying to figure out the logistics.

The one day, I was at a wedding. And one of my friend's mothers who was a devout catholic came over to us, and she said kind of in an agry voice.

But when a true Christian invites someone, it is more just like calm, hey, did you want to attend our service sometime?

My sister lives in Seattle, Washington and was personal friends of all 10 people who died in the plane crash late Sunday night. Her former b/f and still good friend was on the plane. She is very sad over this tragedy. Look on any internet news site to read about the crash.

It seems that most people who are a member of a religion "joined" because of their parents and have not in fact read the books they claim to believe in. They also seem to be blissfully unaware of what their religion claims to be true.

Do people need to be aware of what their religion claims to be true - in some cases needs to be true - in order to actually agree with it?
