Any verses you can site would be very helpful. Her biggest problem with the concept is that it is "saying God is predetermining who is going to hell". Anyway to explain this?

Here is a GREAT article that was recently written by John MacArthur. Read all the way to the bottom to get the full meaning. He really explains it well and uses the Bible to back up everything.

I am sad to say this, don't waste your time. Many Catholics email me, and contact me and in the past I have written a few back.

Whatever verse you give, they are going to look at it from the opposite angle, and take it out of context.
