I don't believe in a higher power. The highest power there is, is an individual capable of using logic, reasoning and rationale to think for themselves.

I don't think you mean 'god', you just mean 'higher being'. Honestly, I don't believe there are higher beings. Don't get me wrong, I don't consider humans to be the greatest thing the universe has to offer, I just don't believe that anything rivals us, collectively, in terms of intelligence.

Basically, I don't believe in 'gods' or 'higher beings'. None of the suggestions you've given are valid as 'higher beings' as they are either other humans or technology created by humans.

So what's the obsession with needing a god? Seriously, why do you think that atheists need a higher power to answer to? Or is that what you're trying to suggest- that we don't answer to a higher power therefore we have no morals or some other failing argument?

History tells me that it was the formation of Catholic Church under the veil of Saint Constantine the Great seeking to use the bible for his control of an empire unequivocally to the Romans of past. Labelled non-believers atheists including the Jews and Gnostic's as well as anyother religion known in the world at that time.

You just don't get it do you: "If atheists have no god at all" that is all that is needed - "then who is their god?" is a nonsense because you answered in the first place - IE no god.

What is all this need for a higher intelligence bit? The collective human race is that. This is because we communicate all our thoughts to each other and from that grow intellectually greater than the one. This is in time as well because to 'chat' with Einstein all i need to do is read his books.

If you are going to ask obscure questions format them so people understand what they are being asked.

"If atheists have no god at all, then who is their god?"

Do you see the difficulty with that sort of thinking?

Those people who believe in God believe that all people believe in God. This is not the case.

Let's have a look at the word "atheist." The particle "a" in Greek signifies the idea of absence, the null set. The word "theos" in Greek means "god or gods."

When we put these two together we get, in English, "atheist," which means "the absence of god or gods."

Atheists are people who don't believe that gods exist.

So, they don't have a god.

Other than that, they're just like you.

An absurd question.Does it make any sense to say or ask that,"if atheists have no God at all ,then who is their God".It's like saying or asking,"if America has no prime minister, then who is the prime minister of America"?Human race survived even before a God came on the scene.Atheists or for that matter anybody does not need a God to survive and live. It's weaklings who need crutches and not he strong ones.

FSM is mine. The other atheists have to make their own decisions.

But I'm not sure you know the meaning of "god" or "atheist" so I'm not sure how much help you can get from this question.

Atheists have no gods at all, if they are true atheists. God, Dieu, Dios, Gott, kami, Yahweh, Al;lah, etc. are names for the deity invented by Moses, but there were many invented before that one. After studying major world religions, it is easier to be objective about them and to see that all gods are fantasies.
