The Bible says David wanted to marry the Daughter of Saul.

Saul tells him to bring 100 PENIS foreskins as a token.

David kills 200 Philistines and brings their Penile foreskins to Saul as dowry for his first wife (Saul's daughter Michal).

18:27 Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.

People eat anything distributed in temple and Mosques without worrying about quality and hygiene. Any mistake in Food and prasad preparation and distribution can affect lacs of people. Should there be any control for these.

I never had churches doing anything like that.

People like Sam Harris and Richard Dawkins argue that Christianity has a detrimental effect on social policy and scientific progress. No one would suggest silencing religious people's opinions, but is "PC" sensitivity toward others' beliefs an impediment to real dialogue? I don't mean mockery, but shouldn't we be blunt and tell Christians (and other religious folks) their beliefs are unfounded?

I am a Christian but I can't find a church that doesn't look down on me. I am overweight, smoke and low income. My mother pays for my dialup IP each month as an ongoing gift to me. So please don't me mean and tell me if I can afford internet I'm not low income...........

I am on section 8 housing, I work part time ongoing but have some major medical issues preventing me from full time work and it's real and I am not faking it.

I am kind, warm, open, honest and love all people.

The first questions I get from a church member are what do you do for a living and where do you live? Which, of course I answer honestly. It's a complete no go with them. I feel the several churches in my area are snobby. My clothing is not fancy but I'm clean and nice.

I just don't fit in in my local Christian chuches. I can only hope that Jesus won't judge them as they have judged me.

I am wondering if it's an issue of money meaning I can't pledge say 50 a month but 10 I can.

1. That it could not possibly be accurate because these events occurred long before my book was written and I was not even there to witness them?
2. That it could not possibly be a true account because other earlier cultures have similar accounts and surely I copied these and put my own interpretation on them?
3. That the history of the Roman Empire has been corrupted by so many different accounts and translations?

So If a Catholic priest molested 30 young boys, and then asked God for his forgivness 30 times......He would then go to Heven? If this is true I sure dont want to go there and hang out with people like that when I die. Wouldnt the same sort of people be in hell, only they just have not said sorry? So you can just say your damned if you do and your damned if you dont ey?

If you fly often, you know that the airlines are having real problem with keeping prices down, maintaining safety and providing good customer service. Personally, I think a nationalized air line would solve those problems and create more efficiency. Right now, you might have 4 or 5 airlines all with flights from New York to Los Angeles, all leaving with an hour. Each flight is probably half full. The increased number of planes detracts from safety and customer service, and flight delays are common. A single airline, in this case a govt run airline, would make for few flights with more passengers on each flight--so there would be fewer planes in the air, with more passengers on each plane. So, you'd have increased safety and also lower costs.

State-run monopolies currently exist for fire, police, sewer/water and other essential services. I think the airlines are another industry which would benefit, and whose customers would benefit, from a monopoly--with strict federal guidelines.

I see lots of Christians here saying how atheists really do believe in god but won't admit it or they hate god etc. Why do they think they know us better than we know ourselves? They've never even met us! Do you really think we'd be calling ourselves atheists and setting ourselves up for all this ridicule if we didn't mean what we said about not believing in god?
(And notice I didn't say ALL Christians. I know not everyone falls into this category.)

Why does it seem that during Bible times the Abrahamic god only was "working" in the Middle East and a very very small part of Europe?

What about the rest of the world?

Surely other things must have been going on in the world, why did "god" decide on that small area of land if he created this huge amount of land on earth?

Why doesnt the Bible contain any other books written from Asia, Australia, North America, South America, and a lot of Europe?

Was god known in any other parts of the world at this time.... or was only in the Middle East?

Or was it that the middle east "god" was only known in that area because people did not have the capabilities to travel to areas like North America and South America and spread their lies oops i mean prophesy.
