For an Italian native speaker like I'm, it's not so easy to understand what you mean exactly with "add". I guess it's what, among other different meanings, Urban dictionary suggests i.e. "to be placed on someone's 'MySpace' friends list". In Italian this "add" can't be translated with only one word (aggiunto = added) but it's necessary to change a bit the sentence's construction and complete the phrasing to avoid any possible misunderstanding.
