Why does it seem that during Bible times the Abrahamic god only was "working" in the Middle East and a very very small part of Europe?
What about the rest of the world?
Surely other things must have been going on in the world, why did "god" decide on that small area of land if he created this huge amount of land on earth?
Why doesnt the Bible contain any other books written from Asia, Australia, North America, South America, and a lot of Europe?
Was god known in any other parts of the world at this time.... or was only in the Middle East?
Or was it that the middle east "god" was only known in that area because people did not have the capabilities to travel to areas like North America and South America and spread their lies oops i mean prophesy.

What group of people is the (near)entirety of the bible centered around.
The Jews.
Where did the Jews live?
In the middle east, and then scattered a little further into the world.
Where was God's temple? In Jerusalem.
It's almost as if the bible focuses on God's relationship to His chosen people, and consequently has little to say about the places His chosen people weren't in.
(didn't Paul write "...first for the Jew, then for the gentile...")

The book is written by men and women like you and me. They are not perfect. They wrote about what they saw and what they understood about their lives and God and such stuff.
As you rightly pointed out, they had never been to other parts of the world, so they probably weren't in a position to document God's miracles in those parts.
The God concept, as usually expressed by the sages, is often partially deistic, all inclusive, and a little like "the personal God" concept. (What does that mean? Ask a sage. :) )
BTW, laziness and hyperactivity do not apply to God. In almost all religions, the adherents believe that God is so powerful that He can create entire worlds with just one word.
The human concept of laziness does not apply because God is supposed to be infinitely efficient. Think a super-super computer that calculates an n-variable equation set in a matter of one billion billion billionth of a second. :)

oh come on! you know you wont get an inteligent answer for the tough questions! the best they come up with is "it's in the bible it's true"
you might get some thing like "it's holy land" or something illogical. why would the western part of the world be forsaken? wouldnt the unholy, savages that ritualisticaly sacrfice 1000's of humans daily need his attention first? wouldnt he need to die for their sins since they are more horrific?

Nothing will ever make good sense when it is premised on falsehood and superstitious thinking . But why should Christians be concerned with their errors and the killing of thousands of innocent people in the name of an imaginary god? Some things just never seem to advance .

do you believe the story of Adam & Eva?
The belief already there when g-d created human. Human was able to talk directly with g-d. Devils play his role, people start denying g-d. People spreading around the globe, carrying what they think good for them.
G-d sent many messenger around the globe to convey a message of "there's only ONE g-d"
anyway, if you don't believe of adam & eva story then don't use bible, torah or quran as your reference.
peace

Maybe God WAS lazy! He wasn't anywhere around Adam and Eve preventing original sin, like a loving God should..he musta gone fishin'...then when he got back from fishin' it was like "Adam! Where are yoou?! I've been fishing! I can't find you! Peek-a-boo....Adam? Come out..hey, what's with that fig leaf?"...pretty weak and lazy for an omnipotent God...yer right!

God chose His most faithful people and then gave all the rest up to their sin. That's exactly what they wanted. Be careful what you ask for....you just might get it.
