The article is a review of Hedi Slimanes (star fashion designer) exhibition "Sweet Bird of Youth" and the title of the article is "Anorexia mentalis" - mental anorexia.
The author claims the exhibition to be more decoration than art.
He concludes that the exhibition can be a warning to young artists that an art industry addicted to stars gets itsself from the fashion industry not inspiration but only the "model desease" anorexia - meaning that being decorative only is "too thin" = does not have enough substance to be art as it will be forgotten as soon as it not seen anymore (much like models on a catwalk).

I think the article is about an art display of Hedi Slimane - who is addressing the modeling world.

The display is about how easy the shallow modelling scene is to copy, that the fashion industry is feinging being artsy and "cool", but in reality is dull and simple.

But i didn't read the article fully, it's using too many big words for my taste.

In fact, you should look the end of the article. The title was explained when it talks about Slimane's project. Slimane wants to warn the youngs, and particulary the young girls about anorexia and about the dangers of the star systems in the mode scene...

because heidi slimane's new art exhibition isn't really considered as such by the author. he says that thanks to slimane's depraved exhibition, other artists can prove how much more artful they are, or of how much more quality their art is. he compares slimane's exhibition with the catwalks upon which anorexic models walk up and down.
