So If a Catholic priest molested 30 young boys, and then asked God for his forgivness 30 times......He would then go to Heven? If this is true I sure dont want to go there and hang out with people like that when I die. Wouldnt the same sort of people be in hell, only they just have not said sorry? So you can just say your damned if you do and your damned if you dont ey?

It doesn't work that way.
If he continues those same actiomns after asking for forgiveness, his "asking" wasn't sincere and I do not believe he was forgiven.

You have to be truely sorry for what you have done and stop those actions.

Also, being forgiven by God doesn't preclude the possibilty that you'll be prosecuted and jailed here on earth

It's not quite as simple as that, while it is true, that men presume, that they are going to heaven, it is not their decision that will get them there! They also presume, to know who else will or will not go there, this too is not their decision, but God's, who can read hearts, and make just judgements!Anyone who may have molested 30 young boys or young girls and asked God for forgiveness 30 times is not only presuming God's forgiveness but also presuming that God is a fool, and they believe God really doesn't know them. Anyone can say sorry, but, the big question is do they really mean it? If they did, would they really continue doing what they say they're sorry for?Not at all! That is not repentance! People like that will not get past God even though they might think they can!

Ok , lets clarify a few points first.

The Bible doesn't say that all good people go to heaven when they die.
That is an unChristian teaching.

Only a small portion of faithful people are chosen to become spirit anointed class of heavenly Israel.

These ones have proven by their life course that they have excelled in living the Christian way , both in their acts , but also in their teachings.
They have not participated or perpetuated pagan lteachings or unchristian lies., such as the trinity doctrine , hellfire , and the immortality of the soul.

Therefore it is clear , even the pope will not go to heaven.
And as far as child molesting perverts are concerned , they too will suffer the penalty of being sinners and they will neither have a bright future.

Repentance for all people is an option , but only if it is heartfelt and accompanied by works that show repentance.

A deathbed simply confession doesn't cut it.

You are wrong ...... a catholic priest or a protestant pastor can molested 30 young boys, but they only need to ask for his forgiveness 1 time ..... after he is done with the last boy.

Their god has already promise to forgive everything they had done with the exception of blasphemy.

Not so. Not everyone that says sorry means it. Are the priest sorry that they comitted a sin or sorry their rape fest was brought to light. To get to heaven, you must obey God's commandments. Yes God will forgive a sinner (The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Psalms 34:18 (KJV)
For a person to obtain salvation, they must be truly repentant of their sins, not just say "I'm sorry"

The people that fall in this category (priest) will have their place in hell:
A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth. 13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers; 14 Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord. 15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy. 16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Prov 6:12-19 (KJV)

Put yourself in God's place, would you let those perverts in if you knew they really were not repentant and if they never served you like you asked? Probably not. Neither would God. So I wouldnt worry about false prophits inhabiting heaven.

God isn't a fool.

Jesus said to the woman at the well, "Go and sin no more." He didn't say, "Go ahead and sin, and then ask for forgiveness afterwards."

If God exists, which I believe He does, then He knows our hearts. And if we're only asking for forgiveness to get a "get out of going to hell free" card, instead of in the spirit of repentance, then it's as if we're not asking for forgiveness at all.

On the other hand, if a priest molests children (going with your example), and then realizes that he was wrong, gives up his position, and repents, then he would go to heaven....so long as he never touched another child again.

And if there is a heaven, we're not going to know who did what while they were on earth. "For ALL have sinned and fallen short..."

If he was truly sorry for his sins, why should he not enter heaven. Your misconception of the Catholic church implies that you think Catholics believe confession is a get out of jail free card. The confessor must truly regret the sin, must make a promise to sin no more and then must make penance for the sin.

And yet the same people who say this will condemn God for sending anyone to hell because He "loves everyone".

Nice question, don't foget though that we all sin. So really we all hang out with sinners already. Jesus took on all our sins when he gave his life; so really once you give your life to Jesus (As he gave his for us) you become sinless. Its like you never actually did that sin. Its called Gods grace.
If you want me to comment more, just ask :-)
