That is true! He is in and of all things. We have our life in him. We have our movment in him. It is he who lights our being.
I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together. John Lennon "I am the walrus".
I am in him, you are in him, we are together but it is not I. As a drop of water is in the ocean and is undistingusable from the ocean ( except that you seek to encapsulate it with words or concept), So do you find your being in God. Both the light within and the light with out. Your Consciousness is the veil that appears to seperate the two (the inner light and the outer light.) . He is the one and the only.
Blessings and peace to all,
All in all
B

You can say god does everything. Or you can say god does nothing. If you start saying those things that 'god saved me' then you have to say that god saves you every moment and live that. For either god does everything or god does nothing.
And if you look around your life you will see that this is the equilibrium, the balance of the will that you are endeavoring to rediscover in yourself by living it.
You are in error if you think god does a 'particular' thing. You can not particularise life or god. It is either all life or it is no life.
It is the particularisation by the mind, by the analytical, categorising ignorance which is the mind that creates such silly questions like 'does god exist?' Well that is like saying 'does life exist?' And here you are, I am life. And I'm asking 'do I exist?'
I exist in matter. I, life exist in matter. Without matter I have no existence. But while there is matter, and while I matter, can feel the matter I am, then that is all that matters.
And then you see the other side, where the masters tell you you must do as though you do nothing and yet you must do everything that you must do. That's because god does nothing. Life does nothing. God is. Life is. And everything just happens in that tranquillity, that serenity of presence.
That is the equilibrium of now.

NO
in my opinion God is Real living Being. not just a spirit that goes whereever. the holy ghost is a spirit that can come and go! true.
But God is not THE computer of the universe. There have been people who claim there is a computer network out there that keeps track of the spirits but it is separate from the LIVING God.
Jesus sits on the throne of God and is very much alive too, he lives and breathes just as any son or daughter of God.
but to say God is everything is a true misconception, probably more like an imagination of false assumptions.
there is a guy on talk shows that discusses the fact that everythiing created has dna/genetic encoding which is fashioned after the dna of God. but thats as close as it gets in my opinion.

dear starz,
god is just a word to describe your creator. some believe that their creator is more like an energy and not at all a man or woman or in any form what so ever. this energy created everything so it is part of everything. never separate but like a vast ocean of energy. i like star wars so i call it the force...
if you follow science at all you might have heard of a dude named albert einstein and he came up with e=mc2 thing wich pretty much tells us that at the microscopic level we are all made of the same stuff.
combining the two theories makes a lot of sense to me. a little of yodas wisdom and you have a pretty good grip on some tough questions.

who do you mean by we? you can say it, I can say it but until you set parameters for we, we can't say it. I happen to believe that god is all things as well but really in that case isn't always just god saying it? can there really be a "we" when all things are one in god? So to finally answer the question, no, due to a lack of clarity in the question.

God is beyond our human understanding...................
Proof? Consider the nature.....the entire universe...who made all these things? Why we feel love? why there is life? death?I guess, Somebody above powerful, mysterious....had created all these things....someone out there has His control over these things.....
And that's how we search for the truth.....the purpose of this life.!!!

You can say this if it is how you believe, it is in essence polytheism. If that is what you believe, than yes you may say it.
I am unable to say that as I believe differently. Variety is the spice of life.

God might be everything to you but to me, he is hateful and vengeful. He finds joy in causing pain to humans. To me, god is nothing.
