yep, I was standing next to this mountain, and with my faith, I chopped it down with the edge of my hand. ( You can do some amazing things with faith in the Big Guy!)
I picked up a few pieces and made an Island, I even through in some sand.
Need a place to party? you can go there.

I was cleaning today when I came across some light green pills hidden behind the tv. They are long, and say watson in the front with the numbers 503.. kinda big too. If anyone knows I really appreciate it. Thanx.

According to Christian doctrine, it was God's idea in the first place to put a tree in the garden that he knew would have deadly consequences.

It was also God's idea to have a justice system where children pay for the actions of their parents.

His idea to allow his own runaway angel (Satan) to run amok and do as he liked.

His idea to punish man for being imperfect and getting duped by this far more cunning and powerful runaway angel.

His idea to create a hell or (if he didn't) allow Satan to create such a place.

His idea to fix the mess by dying to save his unfortunate human creation from HIS OWN justice system.

Christians say accepting all this is true and that God really did die to save us is a "free gift". However, it seems far more convuluted than my belief which is far simpler and dare I say.....fairer to mankind and flattering to God.

How to reconcile "free gift" with believing the vast majority of humankind are doomed anyway and God KNEW from the start?

Do you think India should actually be seperated into two countries : North India and South India, with North India being modern day Bangladesh, Pakistan, and North India?

Think about it. South India's culture is so different from North India's. When it is time for India to unite, conflicts occur like the language and religions....

In my Opinion, Pakistan and Bangladesh were not nessecary to be created. They are so poor now. But if they united with the rest of Northern India, that wouldn't have beed a problem because the cities are bigger...

Anyways, I don't have time to right everthing I feel, I just want to know if anyone agrees with me. Please think about it and answer. Please no bad comment.

Ok, I just want to know if Biblically or based on interpretation there are different degrees of punishment.

And of the following 3 who gets better/worse punishment.

Pagans: They believe in different Gods(note plural)

Atheists(No belief in God)

Now that American Imperial Corporate hegemony is peaking just curious if everyone was aware that ALL empires exploit and oppress by any means necessary to ensure the "security and interests" of those in power (not necessarily you and I however!!)

When Catholics call Mary the "Blessed Virgin," we mean she remained a virgin throughout her life. Now, there are about ten instances in the NT where "brothers" and "sisters" of the Lord are mentioned. But note that "brother" (Greek: adelphos) has a wide meaning in the Bible. Its not restricted to the literal meaning of a full/half-brother. Same goes for "sister" (adelphe). The Old Testament shows that "brother" had a wide semantic range of meaning and could refer to any male relative from whom you are not descended (male relatives from whom you are descended are known as "fathers") and who are not descended from you (your male descendants, regardless of the number of generations removed, are your "sons"). Lot, for example, is called Abraham’s "brother" (Gen. 14:14), even though, being the son of Haran, Abraham’s brother (Gen. 11:26–28), he was actually Abraham’s nephew, and Jacob is called the "brother" of his uncle Laban (Gen. 29:15).

im a baptist and ive always considered baptists to be pretty liberal but ive seen in recent years things that have made me wonder whether its being a hypocrite or not...a woman - a sunday school teacher to 5-6 yr old kids, divorces her alcoholic, non-attending husband and as soon as she separates from him (divorce not final) she is seeing someone else (and eventually marries him) so we have a group of seat-holders in the church - a few deacons, a pastor, and a select few members who have a meeting (unadvertised to the congregation) and take it upon themselves to decide to ask this woman to step down as a teacher...now heres my problem with this - 1 deacon has a daughter who got pregnant out of wedlock at 16, 1 has a 27 yr old son on crack and knows the jailkeep on a firstname basis and the pastor has a 16yr old son who was accused (not convicted) of molesting a little girl....what is your opinion on this? i think they should clean up their own back yards before nosing around in others

Just curious... why is it that some peole mock Muslim girls for wearing the head scarf even though Mary (in all the figures and pictures) is showed piously covering her head?

Is it just because they are Muslims?

(I couldn't care less about what people might think of me for doing so, but I'm just curious about what the system in some people's judgment is).

Translators use the same arguement when it comes to Jehovah's name. That we are not sure how it was pronunced in English.

To take the most prominent example, consider the name of Jesus. Do you know how Jesus' family and friends addressed him in day-to-day conversation while he was growing up in Nazareth? The truth is, no human knows for certain, although it may have been something like Yeshua (or perhaps Yehoshua). It certainly was not Jesus.

But we would never stop using Jesus name and replace his name with titles like "Teacher," or "Mediator" would we?

Of course not !!!

Then why do they feel comfortable doing that with God's name Jehovah?
