Thank you !

Can you give me a website about your church? My soul jumped for joy at your answer, ohhhh this church might be the one! I'd love to hear more about it, Oh God bless you. I want to learn more, are there any of your churches in Texas?

You really pray the rosary? Oh thanks be to God, I don't want to loose my beliefs I just want to worship with out being judged.
Oh and no my other marriages were not in the church, but I'd like my new marriage to be in the church, I just want to live a happy life in Christ, beliving what I belive and not feeling like a complete outcast.

Please tell me more.

Supposedly, there is research indicating that people who have faith and pray are healthier than people who don't. Here is one such article detaling the healthy affects of faith and praying: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20644002/wid/11915773/page/2/ Me personally, I don't think this true. I'm thinking it's more propaganda for the religious right.

This isn't mockery. I actually appreciate and enjoy reading atheist replies which are indicative of high degree of thought and the sound reason and lack of flimsy logic.

However, I have a serious request. Contemplate this. Have you ever (humbly) considered that your own system is fallible? That perhaps your understanding could be limited?

Do you know what is really in the heart of the person you judge and consign to your hell?

Have you looked into the demons eyes?
Have you seen the angels heart within?
Have you heard his lonely cries?
Yet you place upon him your sins.
Have you accepted that what you cannot know,
Is what's in the heart of another?
Do you realize that the man you judge,
Your deity calls your brother?

I am a junior in college, and I value my education a lot. I really try to learn and actually take in what the teacher says, not only because I like to learn, but what the teacher says is important for tests. I find it very annoying and just plain rude when other students are talking, laughing and mumbling when the teacher is talking. It gets even more rude when the teacher has to stop every so often to remind the class not to talk when he/she is talking. This type of stuff is in the syllabus, and most of it is manners that were taught in elementary school. Why do students do this? Who else think its rude?

Why don't you want to get saved?
Why do you want to spend the eternity in torment? why do you choose eternal torture? God is giving you a way out, it is easy, repent, accept Jesus as your Lord and savior and you won't have to go to hell.
Why do you want to spend eternity suffering? eternity is a long time..................

The Bible describes Satan, commonly called Lucifer, as having had a place in heaven. Where in heaven did satan lucifer dwell, and what happend to this being? Our research suggests satan, or lucifer, dwelt in a literal location in the heavens... which when destroyed left the debris we now see as asteroids and comets.
With the evidence of oceans of water having once flowed on Mars' surface in huge quantities, it was apparent that the Martian atmosphere was once more dense, the climate much more hospitable. Sometime in the remote past, for reasons still being debated by astrophysicists, there was a cataclysm on Mars. The Martian oceans washed over the surface of the planet, inundating continents. The vast atmosphere was ripped away,

Atheists believe in nothing metaphysical? No souls or nothing, right? no spirit world, just the physical, what-you-can-see world?

Do you agnostics believe in souls? a spirit world?

we already know that money is the root of all evil. yet, tell a fundamentalist christian that you want "in god we trust" off all of our money and they'll freak out. this makes me wonder. is ok to slap god's seal of approval on other things we consider evil? how about if we put a sticker saying "jesus loves you" on the cover of every pornographic magazine? are christians ok with that? i'd say do something with gangsta rap, since it so often endorses killing and demeaning women, but they already give their props to god at the grammy's.

Earlier someone asked what would happen if they held a straight parade. Someone else answered that it would reveal the "double standard" in existance. I don't know what this means. I have never been attacked by gay people for being proud. I've said it before and I'll say it again; I'm straight and I'm proud. I'm proud to live at a time and in a place where I can know so many people. Beautiful people of different colors, and sexuality and cultures. I'm proud of the fact that I have a mind capable of learning something new everyday. I'm proud to be capable of loving and being loved.

So you see? We can all be proud. There is no double standard in that. The double standard coems when a society says one segment cannot have the same rights as the other segments. We can all be proud. We can all march. So, to the asker of the parade question, isn't it time we all marched proudly together and demanded equal rights and acceptance for all?

At John 1:1 some translations refer to Jesus as "a god".

Trinitarians argue that because there is only one true God, that this rendering of the verse would make Jesus a false god. If that rendering is true however, the question is whether ALL gods, other than THE God, in the bible are false?

Hello?! The bible is the word of God, it has been proven.
If it was not there would not be so many of us christians knowing the truth.
You have been deceived by Satan, you will know at the day of the judgement. Then we will see who will be laughing when you are in front of God.
He is givig you a choice salvation, you do not take it then you deserve hell like he promised..

I am a christian with more of a drive to read and understand practical medical skills and knowledge, so I am fairly busy. That's my EXCUSE.

But I want to point out that a christian having read the bible through isn't reflective of his/her understanding of God. There are some few ways to know God.

1. nature
2. bible
3. holy spirit (and communion with God through prayer)

One can hold the desire of God and goodness which belongs to God, yet not have read the bible through. So, when I read that many atheist have read the bible which christians have not to mockery, I say...it is the heart that accept God, not rejects...is the issue at hand!
