The beginning of the great war, world war 1 and NO it was caused by distrust amongst the five great powers of Europe- France Russia and Britain on one side- Germany Austria Hungary and Italy on the other. They basically formed different alliances because of distrust and then eventually one small conflict in Serbia and the whole thing kicked off- Read a history text book- satan was NOT involved.

I think it has to do with that episode of the Twilight Zone, where the backpacker is lost and stumbles upon this monastery, and the monks have Satan locked up in a dungeon....
