After all, if all was explained, then by now someone would have told Satan everything he needed to know about how to successfully overthrow God and change heaven to suit his purposes a long time ago.

I'm more of the belief that theoretically, if this "heaven" place existed, then it would only have superficial answers to superficial lines of questioning, but nothing that would allow you to save your friends, family, or fellow human beings from an eternity of "hell" despite the fact that God could easily reverse time and never create hell in the first place.

Agree or disagree? Why?

I am Irish/Native American, but I do not necessarily call for Celtic deities' assistance in my spells. Nor do I call for the Great Spirit. I hold that deity is both male and female and the names and pantheons are just arche-types.

Even when making Holy Water, I use the Rituale Romonum of the Catholic Church.

Does anyone else hold similar beliefs?

All they do is force people to go the bar and drink, which increases the number of people driving drunk. If liquor stores were open on sunday, you could drink at home, and not be out driving.

besides why should people be forced to run errands on the sabbath just because the sun worshipers what their day off?

I hear a lot of LDS people tear down the FLDS Church today and claim that it's a big sexist cult that "no one in their right mind" would ever want to join.

Looking at the FLDS culture and comparing it to the post-exodus culture of the LDS Church under Brigham Young between 1848 and 1877, the two look to be much the same.

1. Both featured marriages of underage girls arranged by the Church President.

2. Both featured a Church President with 50+ wives, while many men had only one or no wives.

3. Both Church Presidents preached Blood Atonement from the pulpit and stamped out dissentious behavior.

4. Both featured a theocratic government where the law of the Church supersedes the law of the land.

I know there are probably a few differences, but could someone outline them for me?

We have been married for 28 years and she has been a good wife and mother. However, she does not know how to be polite to me when asking for something. The request usually goes something like this: Get me a drink, or Open the door. On rare occasions, a "please" might follow the request but usually after a pregnant pause. I have never hear her say something like: Please, could you get me a drink? or Could you open the door please?
I have brought this issue up with her on some occasions and usually get the silent treatment because she is angry that I corrected her (gently). I don't bother any more and just accept the fact that I am emotionally castrated by her talking to me like others talk to the pet dog. Unfortunately, she never learned the magic work when she was a kid and I have suffered with it for too long.
Any suggestions other than divorce? It's like a knife every time I hear her demand instead of ask..

or refusal to follow a religion, why is the prison population of atheists (in US prisons) disproportional to the atheist population among citizens?

And it is glaring. .209% (209 one thousandths of 1 percent) of the prison population is atheist. While, over 8% to 14% of the US population is atheist!

Quite frankly, we are enjoying the silence and don't care if said person ever speaks to us again. What should we do? We are open to all suggestions and comments...sarcastic, practical, serious, humerous, etc.

…Would you immediately accept the invitation and be fulfilled, or would you mock me, demean me, and call my experiences heresay, lies, delusions, or hallucinations?

For instance:
If I found a cave full of gold – so much gold that it could supply the wants and desires of millions of people many times over – and, in love, I decided to “let you in on the secret”, and came up to you saying, “HEY! You won’t believe what I have found! My bank account overflows! Come now, quick! See for yourself and freely take to your hearts desire!”

Would you come…?

Or would you just mock me, demean me, call me a liar, call me delusional, etc…

?

I'm a VERY honest person I tell someone the truth even if they don't want to hear it, but they need to, everyone needs to know the truth. some of them get offended but they always thank me later. that's what I would want ppl to do for me, I do that for them.
I've been made the villian and victimized for telling the truth when asked. but it's worth it honesty's the "only word". I won't do sombody something if I wouldn't be cool or understandible for the consequenses of my actions if they did the same, I would not ask a favor that I wouldn't do it for them, the golden rule.
but most ppl want to sugar coat and tell "white lies" to avoid and hide the unpleasant truth like cowards, but you can't runnaway from the truth..why can't most ppl do the same for me even when I beg them to they don't and I can easily tell is someone's lying. but does anyone have ideas of what I should do? does anyone agree? if you tell white lies why, tell me if I changed your mind?

i have a runnning bet with some angel that humans will always continue fighting amoungs themselves over stupid things. This being of light tells me to believe and all that but i don't. i can remember since the 12th century and beyond that it's always been like that and with technology now it will be worse cause just push a bottom and that's it.

I had a World Religions class last semester where my instructor was a Christian minister. Her problem was that she continuously talked about Christianity when discussing other religions. I am in college, and I was wondering if when ancient Greek religion is being lectured, shouldn't the instructor discuss mythology rather than Greek philosophy and how it relates to Christianity????What is your opinion?

Would not like to live in a Perfect World?
I will admit I am a Virgo-The Perfect Perfectionist..However
A world with no crime
A world where no one needed money
A world where no one became sick with aches and pains
A world that had streets of Gold to walk on
A world that has anything you ever questioned or wondered about-Answered
A world where you were happy every single hour
A world that had every blessing of GOD in it.

Who would not want to live in a world like that? GOD promises us that....Yuu can't tell me you want to hang out forever watching CNN
listening to the latest climate crisis, the real estate slump,Brittney's undergarments, Foot and Mouth Disease, The twinkie disorder..

I would like to explore the entire Milky Way wouldn't you dig that?
