After all, if all was explained, then by now someone would have told Satan everything he needed to know about how to successfully overthrow God and change heaven to suit his purposes a long time ago.
I'm more of the belief that theoretically, if this "heaven" place existed, then it would only have superficial answers to superficial lines of questioning, but nothing that would allow you to save your friends, family, or fellow human beings from an eternity of "hell" despite the fact that God could easily reverse time and never create hell in the first place.
Agree or disagree? Why?

Kris L, you assume too much, as I've said none of the things that you state in your opening paragraph. No one needs to go to Satan to tell him what's going on in Heaven, God and Satan have conversations all the time, and Satan is a regular visitor to Heaven, he pretty much comes and goes as he pleases. You don't have to believe me, look up the story of Job, and draw your own conclusions.

Greg, I've read the whole damned book, cover to cover on more than one occasion. I've also compared what is considered the OT to what Jews call the Tanakh. Now, if reading that verse the first few times didn't change my outlook on life, what makes you think reading it because YOU point it out will?
Here's a link, just so you know I actually did read it: http://bibleresources.bible.com/passagesearchresults.php?passage1=Luke16&version1=31
No change. Now, you read this: http://www.drazin.com/chap6.phtml
and this: http://www.messiahtruth.com/response.html#messiah and then tell me if you can still support your belief that your deity is the same as the Jewish one.

Sounds like an evasive answer.
I used to ask a close friend, who is Muslim to explain glaring inconsistencies in his religion and he'd say 'go ask the Imam, he knows about all that stuff' except if my friend didn't have the answers how could he buy in to it?
It's like something comes through the door that says we can make you money, and doesnt say how - send 10 dollars today! And people are doing it!
I think most of this is attributable to the low average intelligence of the human species.
If the average iq was like 140, how many religious people would be left? It would go from like 80% to 8%.

I have to disagree.
I am a little confused by your statement and your preconceptions. Who could ever successfully counsel Satan in a method to "overthrow God and change heaven"? Satan is the chief renegade and no one greater is on his side.
As far as the "superficiality of heaven" that is hard to judge from a point of being without understanding or knowledge. There are so many things in this life and on this planet that I don't understand and so many things to which I have never
even been exposed that I have no basis on which to judge superficiality.
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him: but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit" First Corinthians 2:9-10 is one Scripture which comes to mind.
Some times we have to confess our ignorance and look for ways to educate ourselves or be educated by others who know more than we do.

Your logic is 'flawed' ... you ASSUME that when people die they could go to Heaven (as to another planet in this universe) and could easily 'talk to' people still alive here, and also to Satan. You also assume that some of those who go to Heaven could be 'moles' who would 'report to Satan' on what God was 'doing' so Satan could 'foul God's plan.'
In fact Heaven isn't IN this universe ... Heaven is 'another universe' ... say our universe is a 'petri dish' and that petri dish is 'covered' with a lid, so that 'communication' can NOT 'take place' between the beings in Heaven and us in this petri dish, nor with Satan IF Satan 'exists' in Heaven or in his own universe called HELL. Yes, ALL things are explained in Heaven ... but they may not be the 'things' that foul us up here in our universe. Those 'things' are more about the 'job' for which God created our universe and us and what we will do when we have 'died' and can 'live' in Heaven.
Think about things like cloning, and about 'stem cell research' and how that can 'change everything we think about life' in this universe. Our 'petri dish universe' is like that to God ... and we won't have a 'clue' as to what 'job' we will do in Heaven ... any more than a bacteria in a petri dish can 'know' that when it is 'out' of that dish, it can be 'injected' into another being and FIX what it wrong with it. I don't KNOW that is what will happen, though ... that's just my 'explanation' of it in human terms. We are GOD'S CREATURES and we 'won't know' until we are 'in Heaven' ... as 'beings' but probably not even looking 'human' ... and then we will learn 'the rest of the story.'

That's a big YAY from me.
It's silly for humans to waste so much time trying to make sense of stories and expectations of the past. We live in the now! If there was any reasonable explanations in those stories its been long since lost - through time, translation and "selective editing".

disagree- you asked- so here it goes- Today I know in part, but then I will know completely- faith is what holds me together today- when I see Christ face to face, I will not need to have any questions answered- because He is my all in all. HEAVEN does not do the answering by the way, God does. God is holy and there has to be payment for sin, I am glad Christ paid the price for me so I do not get what I deserve- HELL. Only Jesus can save my family and friends, I can share, I can pray however- He is the one that saves, and it is my friends and family who has the choice.

Once we are in heaven we will have a far greater understanding of many things we don't fully understand now. But we will not become omniscient. God alone knows and understands all things, and we will never become His equal in any way.

I don't think we wll ever be omniscient, therefore there will always be learning taking place. So I guess I would agree with you in that regard.
