Would not like to live in a Perfect World?
I will admit I am a Virgo-The Perfect Perfectionist..However
A world with no crime
A world where no one needed money
A world where no one became sick with aches and pains
A world that had streets of Gold to walk on
A world that has anything you ever questioned or wondered about-Answered
A world where you were happy every single hour
A world that had every blessing of GOD in it.

Who would not want to live in a world like that? GOD promises us that....Yuu can't tell me you want to hang out forever watching CNN
listening to the latest climate crisis, the real estate slump,Brittney's undergarments, Foot and Mouth Disease, The twinkie disorder..

I would like to explore the entire Milky Way wouldn't you dig that?

You mean a world without religion?

Of course....and until such time, I will enjoy the world we have been given....

I live in the suburbs, and I have been lucky, I have not been affected by crime.
I have worked my butt off, receiving an education, and gaining a career, which has afforded me nice things, and no real money woes
I go to the gym, run, eat right, and exercise, and am very healthy.
Streets of gold...that is a waste of resources...the beatiful grass God has provided does quite well.
Questions, I study, try to find the best answer possible...I trust that when I die, all will be revealed...until that time, faith proves strong.
I am happy, most of the time...I try not to let people get me down...I do not focus on the bad in the world, but the good.
I recognize every day the blessings of God...the beauty of the mountains, oceans, a baby's smile....

The world we live in is quite nice...if we quit looking at men...and if we continue to help others make it a better place.

I love the world I live in right now:

My house has panoramic views of beautiful tree-covered mountains.
I live out in the country where there is no crime.
My family enjoys good health.
We have enough money to live well, and all our needs are met.
We have a fantastic time together EVERYDAY.

I wish that everyone was as lucky as me, but I know that there is real hardship and pain in the world. Believing in 'god' does not overcome that, nor does wishing for this life to end so you can be 'happier' in a non-existant afterlife.

An atheist

People state they want that but it's just more proof that people are all talk. They don't do the necessary things needed to move in that direction. People live in a 'me, me, me' society and living this style would mean giving that up. Could you imagine forfeiting your much needed 52" t.v. for a false sense of happiness over not buying it and having those resources directed at something a bit more beneficial (at least for the time being?)

You hit the nail right on the head. I want to experience the knowledge of God so much that I have already begun the process of observation from my present pathetic vantage point. It is truly awesome. Too many times my understanding is clouded by the words of deluded men. Eyes that won't see and ears that won't hear are useless. When Jesus returns at the end of this age I am guaranteed, by his own blood, passage to the place where all will be made known. In the fullness of the Spirit of God will be true understanding of the physical.

Wishing for a thing does not make it so.

You WANT to believe that there's a Sky Daddy who will give you everything you could possibly want. And therefore you DO believe it.

Some of us base our beliefs, not on what we WISH were so, but on what the evidence suggests to our reason IS so.

I'm not sure, frankly, that streets of gold would be all that great a thing, practically-speaking.

I hardly ever watch CNN, and avoid paying any attention to Brittney.

I do, however really enjoy using the power of my mind to comprehend all the things that really smart people who have devoted their lives to understanding things have figured out.

As just one example of one of the things I enjoy.

Just because I'm curious as to what will happen in the distant future, doesn't mean that I will ever get to know.

Wishing doesn't make the wish so.

Different people have different ideas of what a perfect world is. Yours may be vastly different from mine. Therefore there is no such thing as a perfect world.

If the world you describe is waiting, why do people "thank god" for saving their lives? Wouldn't they rather be expedited?
