I am interested in something that would not harm her physically but let other office mates know she is snooping thru desks, email etc. after business hours.

There is a "detection powder" which will turn her fingers RED!
It will take days for her to wash it off!

I like pretty kitty's answer.

If she's snooping right after everyone leaves, you could try putting super glue on the desk drawers or whatever else she is snooping through. She'll have a hard time ungluing her hand from a door or a keyboard!

Or you could just do like everyone else said and use a camera. The best thing (I think) would be to use a webcam that is set up on your computer and leave it on all night to record her.

Can you set your computer up to be password protected so she at least can't snoop there?

As far as the email is concerned, I would think changing the password on your computer should keep her out.

As for rifling through your desk, have you thought about pretending to leave, slipping into the bathroom until she thinks you're gone, and then coming back and confronting her?

If you want everyone else to know, then the web cam tricks as noted by others answering this question would probably work. I can't help thinking that such a nosy person would almost certainly catch you installing the web cams though.

Video camera with a motion/sound trigger, semi permanent dye (the kind used in some mace products) on whatever obejt you anticipate her touching, a mouse trap (depending on the size will definately make her scream, but might also break her fingers).

Write a memo about how she is going to get a raise if she does the following and make up some ridiculous stuff for her to do.

First thing you can do is leave a really foul note. "Hey you stupid c*cksuking, ugly a** b**ch! I KNEW you'd be snooping in here.
This is what happens when you snoop... You get your feelings hurt."

I don't know of anything that would let the whole office know, but I bet she'd stop snooping in your desk.
