So now that I told the people that really wanted to know the truth, the truth, I will tell the rest of you I don't really live in Jena. I live about 60 miles from there. But I was born and raised in the south and I DO know how it is to live down here. I have lived here all my life!

i'm so tired of hearing about all this bullshit. this happens everywhere and just because its louisiana we get targeted. it happens. nothing will come of it since no one wants to change their lives to prevent it from happening again. I've gotten into so many arguments because so many "blacks" are claiming its racism. IT'S NOT!!! IT'S DISCRIMINATION!!!
racism needs to be done away with!!!! we are AMERICANS!!! nothing more nothing less!! their fight is over, now its up to them to make something of themselves just like every other race has. indians dont claim it and look what we did to them, we kicked them out of their OWN LAND and put them in these horrible places. jews dont either and look what hitler did to them.
these "supporters" are fake. they come from all over just to be involved but yet they go back home and forget everything that happened here.
the media needs to stay out of it. just like with the war. x years later we're finding out about things that needed to be known about from day one. they hide everything and make it into a "pretty painting" that is not true...
people...open your eyes. you want to know whats going on...visit the people and visit louisiana
also- as far as the noose. if someone put a swastica somewhere nothing would be done about it. but oh my its a noose...wow?!?! they didnt HURT anyone while the black kids went and beat the **** out of a few boys. all it was was a noose. swasticas are looked at as a rememberance of jews and hitler. why cant a noose be looked at as a rememberance of what happened to the blacks? but then its a racial country no matter what and no one wants to move on with their lives and forget about the past. make the future better...

Since you live there, could you tell me why Mychal Bell is still in jail even though charges haven't been filed (original charges were dropped). The judge at the juvenile facility ordered no bail. This is unprecedented. The judge said he was waiting to see if there would be an appeal. Is this Guantanamo Jena, LA?
What were the convictions for? I'm curious. In a town where nooses are hung, I'm skeptical if those are justified. And, still, where does the law state that a person can be held without formal charges filed, even if he had priors. Direct me to the law and I'll recant my statement.
I'm speaking strictly from a legal standpoint. That would be like a person walking down the street being arrested for nothing, but he had priors. Currently, there are no new charges filed. Therefore, he should not be in jail. UNLESS there is some info I am not aware of. Please enlighten me.

Leave you alone?? I'm from the south too, and let me tell you something the Jena 6 situation is unacceptable. If Jena was better off without the media you'd have treated all of your citizens equally. What if you were black and living in Jena, would you think you were better off then? Maybe you should travel outside of rural southern towns and get a feeling for the real world.
Since you know the "TRUTH" then what exactly is it?

The reason Mychal Bell is still in jail is because he has 4 (four) prior violent convictions and he was still on probation when he attacked Justin Barker with five other guys. The media is misleading in this story and causing the folks in Jena to look like a bunch of racist animals. Good luck. 2D
