There are no different degrees of Hell... For what? Burning is bad enough. And all sins are equal. Any "religion" that worships anybody or anything else besides God is wrong. Just like if you have an idol. Like an actor or a band or a singer or a rapper... You idolize and worship someone else you're going to Hell UNLESS you repent and accept Jesus Christ as your savior and that's the only way.

The bible refers to hell as a place of eternal punishment. mutually as there are some generalizations, there is no longer any company of it. this is a place for people who's sins are to extreme to be forgiven. the tiers of punishment comes from different materials, in general Dante's Inferno. to boot, little or no element approximately maximum issues interior the after existence (heaven, angels, demons, purgatory, and so on.) does no longer come from the bible yet from different christian writings.

there is no scriptural basis for "degrees of hell." Milton, in his work "Paradise Lost" illustrates Hell as having different places depending on the nature of their sin.
What the bible holds is that there is a "perpetual lake of fire" that we call Hell where all that are eternally separated from God will go after judgment. What you may be thinking of is that there are references to "consequences" for decisions that believers make in the afterlife. Though we are forgiven of sin, when we sin there are consequences in terms of answering for our actions.
I hope this helps.

there is no hell set aside for punishment in the afterlife. whatever wrongdoings you perform in life are 'punished' in life, one way or the other--physically, mentally, emotionally, etc. aside from worldly wrongs, there is no need for punishment. having differing spiritual beliefs or lack thereof is not a basis of punishment of any kind. thus there are no degrees of hell because it is nonexistant, and no one person will be 'punished' worse than another simply because of a difference in religious thought, and it is ridiculous and utterly cruel to envision it being any other way.

There are three degrees of glory. (compared to the sun, moon, and stars in respective magnitude by Paul)
I suppose the lowest two could be considered "hell" by those who inhabit them because they will know that they could have achieved better and higher things. However, even these places will be beyond our wildest dreams in terms of magnificence.
See, God IS good. :-)

hell is hell. no matter what you do, even IF you are a "christian" you will all go to the same one. Satan hates all of us, but he loves atheists, pagans and agnostics because they all fell under his trap......other than that he still hates them and everyone who is a believer of God. so no after the book of life is revealed all who aint in it will go to the same place, receive the same punishment (and eventually) the same death.

Who is going to punish them? There is no such thing as any god, heaven or hell. Give me one tiny shred of credible evidence of gods existence, then I might beleive you, Your not seriously telling me you beleive there is an almighty man in the sky, who will banish me to oblivion with his raw power and might if I dont agree with every word that comes out of his mouth are you? So, your telling me he will punish those who dont agree with him, but he wont touch the people who actually deserve it? Also, why would satan love athiests if they dont beleive in him?Even though he actually doesent exist.

Jesus said it is "outer darkness, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth, where the fire is never quenched and the worm (ie the people there) never die."
In your opinion, who will it be worse for, the person who never knew, or the person who was warned many times, yet they rejected the warnings?

There is only one hell, and no varying degrees. Equal punishment to all that do not believe.
