Do you think India should actually be seperated into two countries : North India and South India, with North India being modern day Bangladesh, Pakistan, and North India?
Think about it. South India's culture is so different from North India's. When it is time for India to unite, conflicts occur like the language and religions....
In my Opinion, Pakistan and Bangladesh were not nessecary to be created. They are so poor now. But if they united with the rest of Northern India, that wouldn't have beed a problem because the cities are bigger...
Anyways, I don't have time to right everthing I feel, I just want to know if anyone agrees with me. Please think about it and answer. Please no bad comment.

To a well wisher, my point is that if India becomes a grand nation, India can not be united very easily because of so many cultures. My original idea about India was for it to be the entire sub-continent, but then I realized it is hard for all of India to unite. It is even hard for modern India to unite, hence my question: North India vs. South India.

Every state in India has its unique culture. For
example, the culture of Punjab is so different from
that of Bengal even though both states are
northern. Among all countrie in the world, the
diversity between different regions is higherst
in India. That is the uniqueness of India.
Religion is a liability in other
countries. Such an attitude breeds
atheists. All other countries have
mono-theism. Hinduism is poly-theism.
All rivers finally reach one ocean. In
the same way, worship of any god will
finally reach Paramatma. In India, we
are free to choose a god of our liking.
This is what it keeps our individuality
and spiritual freedom . You can make
religion your way of life, and live a
very lively life. It shows the unity in
diversity among Indians.

You say there is difference between culture of North & South India.
There is a lot of difference between cultures of Pakistan, North India & Bangla Desh. Why Bangla Desh separated from Pakistan if this is not the case.
We may really talk of making a Grand Union of India, Pakistan & Bangla Desh. But unfortunately we are not mature enough and even if we try, all the nations of the world will be frightened of this idea, as the one nation formed thus will be very powerful.
